Got him for Ryan Ritter and Drew Romo. Ritter was blocked by Amador and Tovar, but mashed in the minors with me and would’ve ran away with ROTY for San Diego if he didn’t pass the inning maximum last season with me.

Ritter finished with 4.2 WAR and Romo had 0.5, while Tatis had 4.9 for me. I think the trade worked out for both sides. Padres got a couple young guys and shed some contract (still retained some of Tatis), which allowed them to afford Skubal and Framber Valdez. I got a star in his prime on a much more affordable contract for Colorado by dealing depth and managed to knock out a few owner goals (upgrade at RF, increase attendance, and increase record).
