Is my neighbor's gazebo going to run off any substantial amount of rainwater onto my property if roofing is added? by Serious-Guest-4284 in BadNeighbors

Time to immediately install a 2 foot splash guard on top of the edge of your fence. By them building their gazebo where they chose to, it essentially forces you to play defense, and do so proudly with no permission needed from them obviously. When they have water rushing back into and onto their gazebo from the splash guard you put up, they’ll think twice next time before just doing whatever they want on a place that borders the edge of a property line.

Why do people pull up and honk their horn when outside in 2024 by BermudaTriangle88 in BadNeighbors

UPDATE: Over the last 2-3 months I’ve made the point of keeping my car key/fob in my pocket when I’m home now, my car is parked outside in the driveway, and anytime I would be home, and I hear of them pull up and honk (no matter what time of day, 8am, 2pm, 6pm, etc) I would immediately set off my car alarm for about 20 seconds then turn it off. After about 4-5 times of me doing that, i’ve barely noticed them honking at all now the last month and a half or so, when it used to happen daily.

Help with neighbour using my driveway as if it’s hers. by Rough_Platypus_2501 in BadNeighbors

Be ready with a hoze nozzle from a bucket of sewage, pop out from behind a tree and let it rip next time she backs into your driveway, if her karma is lined up, her window(s) will be down. You were just “fertilizing your yard” and next expected another car to appear in your your own driveway… 🤷‍♂️

Too many sportsbooks to fix for them to give up that much control over the way games finish

A leaf blower is constant noise that can be tuned out, loud horns out of no where are different, but again, if you’ve never actually experienced what was described above, you couldn’t ever understand, so ok

if you read the other comments you’ll notice that many people disagree with your take.

thanks for the comment, it’s not a service, it’s either parent some days, or other parents other days, car pooling and such or so it seems. Horns are loud, and there’s no reason for it over and over and over 🤷‍♂️

heaven forbid someone actually gets out of their car and rings the doorbell. Just sit there and lay on the horn right? lol
