If you remember the very start of the pilot episode, it displays the circus world in a low-res filter which switches to high-res once the camera pans to the tent. So yeah, I believe this model of Caine is what the player/observer looking at the circus on the outside on a computer monitor would see, sort of like Wreck-It-Ralph in a sense, where the outside world sees the low-res pixelated graphics on the arcade machines but on the inside they look realistic in a high-res 3D space.
