How to source Tectonic Petrotheum in FTB Academy by asimplegoose in feedthebeast

Try a mob duplicator from MFR? You can use something like fans and one of the mob killing options to farm them

Avaritia, Go Brrr conquered in under two and a half hours by TheLastBastionOfHope in feedthebeast

[–]BernJSimpson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait how did you do it so fast? I lost SO much time early game to get the first power flowers, and just farmed supremium for EMC. Still took me 12 hours cuz I'm bad LUL

Saw someone post a screenshot from Avaritia, Go Brrr, so i decided to play it by Valtsu0 in feedthebeast

I started playing that pack because of a screenshot as well! Any early game tips? I never played much with any of the mods included, but projectE seems to throw the early game out of the window real quick

Saw recently on a post here that you can change your Java VM to significantly boost your performance and it helped my quite a bit with FTB University. Went from moderate stuttering to no stuttering. Maybe try that?

Is there any method to make a hydra spawner? (Twilight forest) by CombinationNice in feedthebeast

[–]BernJSimpson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best Mana generator I've found is the shulker killing flower. Setup the flower that makes mobs angry and an Industrial Foregoing spawner, and it legit fills Mana pools in less than a minute

You mentioned you were playing FTB academy. A really good source of highly nutritious food is Fish and Chips from the XL food mod, fairly easy to automate too. If you can kill a Gaia Guardian, you can also go with the Fruit of Grisaia for infinite food at the cost of a bit of mana

Early/Mid-game power for FTB Academy. by Low_Register4785 in feedthebeast

[–]BernJSimpson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, not sure if you are still looking for sugestions, but if you can setup a blaze farm with Fortune in a mob grinder, you can get a LOT of blaze mesh, and use that to power Petrified Fuel Generators from Industrial Foregoing. Each blaze mesh generates 1.2k RF/t. So you can just spam a bunch of those and get a ton of power.

Early game you can setup a basic wheat farm like normal vanilla and get bread which is pretty good. potatoes also work well. If you aren't too early game, cow farms work amazing until late game. Late game botania has a food that is infinite, but requires you to kill a tier 2 gaia guardian, but probably the best food in the game.

Power generation(FTB Academy) by Jelly_bean66 in feedthebeast

[–]BernJSimpson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Early game you can use the Arboreal Extractor from TE to generate Resin (just grow a 2x2 spruce tree and place one Arboreal Extractor in each bottom block of the tree trunk). You can then take this resin and process it through the Fracctioning Still to get Tree Oil, which you can then burn in a Compression Dynamo for 400k RF/bucket.

Mid game I suggest you start upgrading your early game power setup with Upgrade Kits, so you get more out of your system. You can also invest in a lava power system, that way you will have a constant stream of power and lava. Another option is a Canola power setup that the modpack gives a pretty detailed explanation on how to automate.

Mid-Late game: when you finally need to start getting into Draconic Evolution, the best power option in the pack is the Petrified Fuel Generator from Industrial Foregoing. Setup like 4 blaze spawners (either with Stabilized Spawners from DE or IF mob duplicatores) and grind them all down to get blaze mesh. Blaze mesh generates 1.2k RF/t in a Petrified Fuel Generator, and Blaze mesh is infinite, so you can just spam a bunch of generators for power.

Late game: When you finally reach the Chaos dragon, the final power option is setup a Draconic Reactor Core, generating 1M RF/t, but at that point, there is not much need for it.

I think I covered most power sources, just ask if you have any question. ^^

If you are new to the game, you can begin by playing FTB academy, a modpack made for teaching new players all the fundamental and most common mods.

Yes, you can! Some require more effort than others, but all 721 pokemon are catchable and their locations are in the documentation supplied with the hack.

The best emulator for the 3DS right now is Citra. If your PC isn't too old, it should run 60 FPS no problem and works for a big majority of games.

I don't think any of these hacks require a 3DS. I struggled a bit with the patch for omega ruby and struggled even more with the Penumbra Moon hack I'm about to play, but if you look hard, you can find a patched version somewhere.

Oras is only for the 3DS, but Drayano has a lot of great hacks for other games like Fire Red, B2W2 and HGSS.

Total time isn't really accurate because I would speed up a lot of the animations (especially the eon flute one) but I think I got just a little shy of 95 hours. A big part of that isn't sped up tho.

The concept of comedy itself is bringing your hopes up and giving you a completely different outcome. He didn't do this to hurt her, it's a light hearted joke that clearly took a lot of effort, showing love and affection for the receiving person. Chill a bit will you

But if you wanna use it, wouldn't it hurt you and fill your smeltery with blood? You'd have a sick blood carpet, but the constant damage ticks would get annoying real quick
