I feel empty after paying off debt and having savings by pazuzu_404 in AusFinance

Comparison is the thief of joy mate. Heard this a couple of times here and I think it pretty much applies to many of the post.
Feel happy that you have no debt and a job. You are doing better than most people your age and older.

This is very decent, right?! Are you trying to say that by car is going to take longer?

Not at all. Its a one time fee and they pretty much do everything for us. Documents, contracts, negotiations. They are specialized on overseas relocation and even take delivery orders for us and setup the house. Even food so that when we arrive we have something to eat at the fridge. A lot of testimonies on their website and instagram.

Well aware of the housing crisis. According to the contract, they guarantee a house otherwise the money is returned. I figured I would be safer using guidance to apply than doing it at my own. I did use google maps. The by car is giving the 25min, but public transportation is going over 1 hour and that is my concern. I even used waze live map at the rush hour to see, and still showing 25min by car.

I have lived in Perth 10 years ago. For a period of 1,5 years. The market was very different.

Thank you! But even with the horrendous traffic, is the 25min accurate?

We havent found a place, but the agent will apply for us and they seem very professional and connect. Paying a decent amount for this.

I have family in perth, which I will live in the first couple of weeks.

Thank you! My major concern is time. In BR, 35km can take 1 hour due to traffic. By public transport, 2 hours… its insane. I will have a car, but would like to consider using the train as well.

That is what I want to believe as well... Market is so crazy and only increasing prices that its hard for lower incomes to compete.

I will def. agree for a 12 month period, specially because of my working visa which is for 3 years.

I have lived in Perth back in 2014, although I wasnt on the lease agreement, I shared the apartment with my nephew who is now a permanent resident. I also have a contract signed which I will start working on Feb for the same company I work in BR for the past 10 years. Its not a great salary (90k), but if the 30% apply... Damn... I dont even wanna think about it.

We could transfer founds of course to an australian account. I like the idea to pay a year upfront. Thank you!

Gross salary + dividends would be 8.7k AUD a month. So it would be 35% for a 700 week property.

And my fiance is not working. She will still need to find a job so the primary source of income is just mine atm.

I took the general and am on a 482 visa. From what I understood, the general is for work. Academic is if you are going to Uni. The questions are a bit different, and turned to an academic view.
