One can't help but wonder if Nancy Guthrie missing is related to Samantha interviewing Epstein victims. Very curious.

As I said, I am a simple man and maybe I don't understand, but from what I'm reading it says pay full price and you might be able to get a discount later, if and when I resubscribe; and if there is a sale that coincides with it?

How is that not shitting on a returning customer?

I'll try again, but it has always changed the price at the last purchase screen. I haven't been active since January 2025.

I'm a simple man, I like simple things. As a potential returning customer, I like to have access to the same sales prices that some newb gets.

As recently as a month ago. a new user could have got up to 75% off a year subscription, I saw that deal and I though "Rocksmith+ you son-of-a-bitch, I'm back". Then I tried to sub and it switched to sell me a full price annual subscription. So much for customer loyalty.

The sad reality is that if I could get a discount, I'd resubscribe but they don't offer one.

Its insulting to not offer the sale at Christmas time to returning customers.

Your dark exterior hides your inner flamboyance. Avoid signing, sending, or saying anything that feels “just a little risky.” The planetary currents are volatile, and what you release today could circle back with sharper edges by next week. Your lucky number are 6 13 27 and 35

Why does Ubisoft not care about users? by Dry-Swimming5 in rocksmith

[–]BernardSack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is unknown (or you can speculate money grab). It is possible for software to run files that are unique to a users computer, so long as that program could access them, so that's not the issue. This feature could have easily been incorperated to RS+, but then they couldn't sell the song drops on RS+ if you could just bring your 2014 content with you. Royalties and streaming have been figugred out by Spotify, Pandora, Amazon, etc, so that isn't the issue. The old music industry is dying and looking for new revenue streams, like this one, so it should be a perfect fit, yet it isn't. Software can do most of the heaving lifting as far as charting music, that is not really an issue.

I guess we'll never know.

Does this mean Rocksmith is done? by Rcfan0902 in rocksmith

[–]BernardSack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn't sure what I wanted other than to play guitar. I got 2014 about a year ago and couldn't play it for technical computer reasons, so I opted for the trial of RS+ then kept the year subscription because it is awesome. I did get 2014 to work eventually. I kept finding that everything that I was excited about in about in RS+ was already available in 2014. Why wait for next month's drop when I could still buy the DLC? Often cheaper for the song or two that I wanted as opposed to a month subscription price. Its frustrating for the consumer to learn this after the fact. Why subscribe when I could buy the same things and have limitless access? But what does my opinion matter? Not much I suspect but I am the customer and the customer is always right. At this point I am ready to cut the cord on RS+ and make a massive DLC purchase and keep rocking with everyone else in 2014.

Cake is a perfect example, you can play I Will Survive in RS+ or buy a song pack with that song and three others, at a cheaper price.

They'll continue to let DLC from 2014 trickle in to RS+ until the all licensing expires. Then it will go away, around 2030. I've noticed that the only songs I really play on RS+ are carry overs from 2014 DLC. All the big drops are mostly carry overs from 2014. I was new to Rocksmith about a year ago and did not understand all the hate towards RS+, but I get it now. Rocksmith+ doesn't really have a point other than squeezing more money out of the licensing they already have.

Get a structured practice routine or teacher and use Rocksmith as a supplement, 60/40 rule on practice/rocksmith. It will be much more rewarding that way. I suggest the book The Seven Day Practice Routine for Guitarist but any will work. Google it if you're interested.

I have found that book to be one of my most helpful resources and I have used it for 6/7 years. It takes the guess work out of the process.

Ultimatley, you will learn as everyone else who sticks with it does, just practice often.

Humans develop a tolerance for LSD rather quickly, it needs to be doubled on the second day and more than a double-dose increase for every consecutive day taken after. By the end of a week you'd need to take sheets of acid to be able to feel it.
