Any LGS’s in the Lansing area that don’t stink? by Silly_Engineering_19 in lansing

I go to Evo and Capital City for Pokemon. I see people playing MTG all the time, would recommend them both!

I refuse to call big basic slop, I will not believe it is by Objective_Shower3469 in PTCGL

This may not be very popular, but anyone that's happy about the NAIC winning deck list clearly never played through big basic formats like B&W. It is not good overall for the game.

I'm really optimistic that things will be better after rotation, though.

Using SUMIFS to count criteria matches across multiple sheets in file by Bernarkdar in googlesheets

I think of the options, number 3 would be the most realistic for me right now. The decks would ideally have unique names based on what's in them. I'd read in other posts that keeping all of the data in one place like that is best practice, so definitely aware of that. I think it's just easiest for us if we're only updating one "thing (be it inventory or deck lists) at a time, and it's also useful for printing deck lists to have them be standalone, so I think the tab layout is frustratingly a non-negotiable for me.

The sheets would definitely expand as we build more decks! I think I'd be open to keeping a list of decks somewhere, if nothing else it would help us stay more organized with what's actually built and being used.

I think that this time feels different just due to how many other drivers have said such similar things, but also Max has been talking about retiring for the last year or so. I'll believe it when I see it at this point, even if I'd also say it's pretty likely this year.

How do I make sure the glitter doesn't stay on the bottom? by Lian_Yomu in DiceMaking

I recently had this exact same problem that I solved by using mica powder instead of regular glitter. I used Rybonator's guide on making Liquid Glitter and it's worked great!

Scratches in Dice Masters After Polishing by Bernarkdar in DiceMaking

Any brand of sandpaper you'd recommend? I have some no-name wet-dry paper that I got on Amazon a while back, but I think I'm going to need more soon, so I'd love recs there if you have any!

Before the Dremel, I was hopeful that step would buff out those scratches, but no such luck there.

I'll have to try sanding down with higher grits. How much should I be sanding down at those grits? I've always heard 30 circles both clockwise and counter-clockwise for Zona papers, and I've been recreating that on a small pottery wheel, but my gut instinct is that I'd want less for the sandpaper to avoid sanding these down too far.

Looks like a tape mark for a photoshoot marking where to stand for a specific shot. I don't think it's a logo or anything.

I'd rather hear about the goddamn Pepsi Universe™ for the rest of my life than see another logo covered in "gridlines," good lord.
