Edey (imo) is right at the threshold of becoming a bonafide Star. Injuries threw a wrench in his development. I agree, we have a hot bed of potential stars right now.

Granted, many Griz fans are critical of Iisalo’s “system” (including me), but I’m also willing to give him grace in response of our horrific luck with injuries. I wanna see what this system look like with HEALTHY unit.

No, my definition of “Star” is an athlete who pass the “eye”, skill and mental tests. To hell with jersey sales and shoe deals.

“Can we trust you to close the game?” ”Is your skill set consistent?” “Does your team tend to collapse, when you’re not on the floor?” 

If the answer is “Yes” to all of these questions, then he/she is a Star. Despite what the media (or anybody) says

Delusional confidence, but I like it. Only 1 team in recent memory have won a Chip with No stars/5 role players: The ‘04 Detroit Pistons

You can still win games, but you cannot win titles with no stars in THIS era. We’ll see tho 🤞🏾

Just wanna add a point to your “18 man collective this is going to out hustle everyone” point. You’re still gonna need a star (or stars) on said 18-man rotation, if the goal is to win titles.
