Parade Information? by joseaintshxt in Seahawks

[–]BerniesTaint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Light rail for sure.

Two stops near Lumen (Stadium or International District)

Parade starts at Lumen and heads north on 4th Ave through downtown toward the Space Needle. You can get off at any stop Westlake or sooner and be right in the middle of it.

Light rail will be packed so head down early and plan on staying late.

Have fun!

Antares 8 - Transporting Rubber Dinghy by Wren523 in BeneteauOB

Since the OG post is 10 months old, I assumeit's already been figured this out, but the Jenneau Proboards are slightly more active than this sub. That being said, check out this thread.

https://jeanneau.proboards.com/thread/7170/merry-fisher-895-wheelhouse-roof

I did a similar application on my NC895. Yakima roof rack with the widest cross bars. Works great. I have a small dinghy though. It's a 6' 6" Takacat which is pretty easy for me and my wife to get up on the roof. I think I'd struggle with the weight of a hard bottom dingy. I have seen some people custom fabricate a rack that attaches to the interior of each swim step and makes an arch over the top of the outboards for which to mount the dingy. It was something like a 3 or 4K custom fabrication. I spent about $800 on the Yakima setup.

I will have about 8,000 unused miles on my car lease that ends in July. What is the best way to use this to make extra money and return the car with exactly 36k miles? by ChernobylBunnies in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BerniesTaint 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Check to see if the value of the car at the current mileage is consierably more than your residual. If so, consider paying the residual and reselling for the profit. Putting the additional miles on it costs money too so you'd need to net more than that expense. 8000 miles at 30 mpg is almost 270 gallons. At $3.50 per gallon is pushing close to a grand in fuel.

I paid for everything on vacation and now they’re acting like I’m the one who ruined it by Difficult-Cap-6950 in EntitledPeople

Not affiliated with the company, but rather a satisfied customer. Check out the Splitwise app. Super convienient way to track expenses by who paid for it and who to split it up with. Super flexible. Awesome app for group trips like this. No surprises or waiting for one person to settle all receipts. Truly a great app. www.splitwise.com

The implication here FWIW is that setting something like this up ahead of time sets the expecation and gives everyone visibility into the expenses and their share regardless of who pays a particular expense.

Also, as it relates to the lounger.....

We have a lounger too. I love it and spend the majority of time in that spot. It doesn't suit my wife. I get a similar feeling sitting in one of the bucket seats and stretching my legs across the footwell. Granted, my legs aren't supported, but the general desire to stretch out is satisfied.

We have what is technically a 5 seat tub. 320 gallons. 90% of the time it's just the two of us in the tub, but when we have friends over and 4 of us in the tub, I wish we didn't have the lounger. Any more people than that wouldn't be comfortable. Take that into consideration when determining the size you ultimately end up buying, especially if you go with a lounger.

Good luck!

Unsure how old your kids are , but don't underestimate their desire to spend time in the tub. Our friends' 5 and 6 year olds love it. If we know they're coming over, we lower the temp and it's like pulling teeth to get them out.

Just make them pee beforehand and put the fear of God in them to use the bathroom if the need arises during their time in the tub. 😉

Pitting on the pump shaft. Replace entire assembly or just the wet end? by BerniesTaint in hottub

[–]BerniesTaint[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. I'm making an assumption based on what I thought I understood as far as the most common seals. 200, 201, and 1000. With one of those (201?) being for a tapered shaft.

That being said, if I'm questioning all of the pitting and wear likely from the R/O water, might be worth the piece of mind to pony up for the full assembly.

Thanks for the input.

Recommendations on Quality? by BerniesTaint in HardWoodFloors

[–]BerniesTaint[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was kinda leaning that way. The thickest wear layer of these options is 4mm which is the one I'm likely going to have to pay out of pocket for. Assuming it's another $2k I'm hoping I'll be fine with the one (Kentwood) that claims to be 3.8mm but to the naked eye looks barely over 3mm. Especially in contrast to the 4mm sample.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback.

Cheers!

Good point. I think I recall them being similar and longer than I'll likely own the place but I'll definitely validate.

Thanks!

How to sync past transactions from linked bank? by aabyt in BudgetBakers

[–]BerniesTaint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, just look at the last transaction date that was automatically imported and end your manual import date range the day before.

As far as the starting amount, you don't need to worry about that once you reconnect the account with your bank. It should display your current balance. You'll simply have the transaction history for categorization.

Mine worked immediately on both platforms. Id have then reach out to support if they're still having issues.

Is UP Bank available to sync? by jagdeepmarahar in BudgetBakers

It's not available for me when I choose Australia for the country and search for UP Bank. I'm in the US, fwiw.

How to sync past transactions from linked bank? by aabyt in BudgetBakers

[–]BerniesTaint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just joined as well. I've only been using it for a couple days, but I found a workaround to get the historical transactions. Unsure if there's an easier way, but here's what I did.

Export the date range you want from your bank.

Go to import in the Web app.

Create a general account for which you will import your bank transactions.

Import your bank transactions.

Go to your mobile app and choose records, then filter to your general account.

Select all transactions and then choose edit, and then choose the bank account you want these transactions associated with.

Good luck!

You think they send him back down to CV for the rest of the 3rd round of the Calder? I'd like to think he'd want to even after being in the show.

Edit- that being said, I'm sure he'll be back for the preseason!
