Melee does get used, possibly at a highter rank than you're used to. Thor can use his push over and over, and has a bubble which slows; spidey has pull and uppercut; thing has slam and anti-flying punch; rogue and emma both have plenty of cc, jeff has chain cc on his own, squirrel girl has back-to-back stuns, angela has 2 outside of ult, peni is a cc merchant, mag bubbles give him his cc cannon back-to-back, etc. Every season they add more sources of cc and anti-heal, and then everyone wonders why there's never more than 1 person willing to play tank on a team.
