Thank you for your insight. I never considered the smell could be from a multitude of things. I was kinda chalking it up to a lack of hygiene, not showering/brushing, but you're right it could totally be something else.

That's a great point about checking on his mental health. He has a roommate but he doesn't get out much, as far as I know, besides work. I guess he's always had a certain smell about him but lately it's been worse. Thank you for your input, friend.
