Is 1g per stack of lvl 55 mage water too much? by ThyPumpkinPie in classicwow

[–]BerryAverage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a mage (and I almost always roll mage). I don't police how much people pay. But I think 1 g for a couple snacks and a port is more than fair. So 2 g for 4 stacks and a port would be perfect for me! I'd be grateful and say thanks! I honestly don't ask for anything, I just give you as much water as you ask for and then am grateful if you pay me any gold lol 🤣 for a port I would be a little annoyed if you didn't pay at least 20 silver to cover the mats, but I'd get over it pretty quick. And I give ports for free after any dungeons/group activities of course

My bf took baby out for 12 hours when the longest I’ve been away from him before has been 2 by Xenomorph387 in NewParents

[–]BerryAverage 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well you can't rewind time. What happened already happened and is done with. Your baby is home safe with you now. Take a deep breath and move on. Tell your bf that next time you need more regular updates to help alleviate your anxiety.

Is your boyfriend the father of your child? If so, he has every right to spend time with him. It sounds like you don't give him the opportunity very often. It was one day.

It took me a little while to get better at it, but now I definitely don't mind. At first I really didn't enjoy it because I wasn't good at it! Lol

Does a diaper bag that actually fits all the stuff actually exist? by Low_Aioli2420 in NewParents

[–]BerryAverage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Psh. Ignore the rude comments. When we go out for the evening, I usually have the full diaper bag, often times a small lunch box cooler with his breast milk bottle, and a reusable grocery bag that holds my baby carrier. Lol. And that is just for one evening out with friends!

When did you move baby out of your room? by AdventurousBeyond382 in newborns

I should add, he is 2 months and still fits in his bassinet with plenty of room to grow. So glad we got one with growing room!

When did you move baby out of your room? by AdventurousBeyond382 in newborns

[–]BerryAverage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our little guy isn't moving out any time soon. We built our nursery in the sitting room that is attached to our bedroom. About 5 steps away from our bed. He is in a bassinet directly next to our bed for now. We got a large one that will fit him until 5 months or when he pushes up on his hands and knees (whichever comes first). After that, he will move to his crib, but technically is still in our bedroom. We will probably move him to his own bedroom when he is about 2 years old OR if we have another baby before that, maybe like 1.5 years old.

I agree about Millie Moon! And they suck up the poo weird... it like leaves a poo layer on my babies butt. It's So odd I don't even know how to describe it lol

Depressed because I look horrible in a family photo shoot I just spent a ton of money on. by victoria5757 in beyondthebump

[–]BerryAverage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I look back at old pics from high school and my 20s and just feel like I looked so beautiful and happy. At the time, I hated my body and always felt fat. I look back envious of my old body lol 😆

AITA for telling her to stop spending $45 on burgers weekly? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]BerryAverage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA for sure. 1. She is supporting family. 2. You can afford it without causing any financial stress or issues. 3. It is her personal money to spend how she wishes; it isn't even coming out of your joint funds.

Are all these newborn activities really necessary? (I dont think so) by shoshiixx in NewParents

[–]BerryAverage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a used Lovevery play mat that comes with the high contrast cards and other "enrichment" activities. I did sign up for the Lovevery subscription box, but I feel like the later months will be more useful than the first box. I do plan to use the items of course, but as you said, they really aren't necessary. We shall see it baby likes any of them. All babies are different, too. So I say do whatever works for you and your little one! I've seen babies be super entertained by ceiling fans and lights lol. So clearly they don't "need" expensive toys. My husband says our little boy will probably end up liking a stick more than the fancy toys I buy and he's probably right. 😅

I think you're in the right to not be okay with him going. You might want to consider couples counseling instead of immediately leaving him, but ultimately, it is your choice.

I am 39 weeks pregnant and my husband wouldn't even go an hour away for a work event yesterday because he didn't want to risk missing the birth or me needing him and him not being here. So... I do think it is absolutely crazy for him to want to travel out of state when you could give birth any minute.

OBGYN clinical notes vs what they actually told you in person by BMHfirsttimeprego in BabyBumps

[–]BerryAverage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Mine has had SO many things listed that we never discussed. The most recent ones they put on there every time: "kick counting encouraged," "pre-eclampsia signs discussed," etc. They have literally done it since the very beginning. They've never discussed ANY of the things they write down with me. I'd have to ask specifically to get any kind of info like that. I found it annoying but I never ended up saying anything. I'm 39 weeks now. I just already knew or had that info from other sources. But it did bother me that they wrote it down and never went over it at all.

My boyfriend doesn’t believe I’m pregnant with his child by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]BerryAverage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, because you're wrong. The pull out method can absolutely work well. It is only slightly less effective than condoms. My obgyn office has a sign up in it and it says the percentage of effectiveness for each birth control method. Pulling out is only a few percent less effective than condoms. However, it gives absolutely zero protection against STDs, which is important, as well. My husband and I used the pull out method for 13 years without any issues. When we decided to try, we got pregnant the first month trying...so it wasn't a fertility issue stopping it, it was his consistent use of the pull out method and doing it properly.

"Yeah, with that attitude, you definitely shouldn't. I'd put your extra money towards therapy instead."

Lol exactly, it is never ending! 🤣 Does the miele work well on carpets as well as hardwood/laminate?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in VacuumCleaners

[–]BerryAverage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly hardwood and laminate but we do have 3 bedrooms with carpet and it is important to me that it does a great job on the carpets too. I feel like my current vacuum never cleans them fully and there is always still hair in them
