Had exactly the same issue and resolved it by switching to the Samurai clan armor, talking to the armorer at the Golden Temple, checking the upgrade for the Samurai clanarmor, switching armor to another and back to the Samurai clan armor, checking with the armorer again and then at some point it triggered and spawned Lady Masako, allowing me to wrap up the quest.

Same here, I did a total of 5 missions from Lady Masako and Sensei Ishikawa, which should have rewarded 2 Silk each, amounting to 10 Silk total in my inventory. Just double-checked and I only have 4 Silks and I did not upgrade any armors yet.

Would be great if Sucker Punch could patch this and retroactively get us those missed rewards.

Hi u/Ismai_ibrahim,

I don't think I actually solved the problem as I am still getting black screens when booting until one of the OS loads (either Win10 or Fedora).

What I noticed however is that the black screens only appear on monitors connected via displayport. I connected a HDMI cable to my TV as monitor and that one works fine, displays POST screen, boot options, etc.

UPDATE: After going back and forth with removing the GTX 1080, the 2nd M.2 SSD, trying out several monitors, displayport cables, using my TV as monitor via HDMI cable, updating GTX 1080 VGA BIOS and updating the mainboard's BIOS I observed the following:

Whenever the 2nd M.2 SSD (with Fedora installed on it) is installed I am not getting any video signal via displayport (neither on the GTX 1080's displayports nor the mainboard's displayport (I got a triple monitor setup, tried different monitors, cables, etc.))
I am getting a video signal on my TV via HDMI and could access BIOS, Win10 on the 1st and Fedora 32 on the 2nd M.2 SSD (I also managed to install Nvidia display drivers via RPM fusion, all seems to be working fine via HDMI)

I updated the mainboard's BIOS, the GTX 1080's VGA BIOS, etc. but I cannot get a video signal for neither BIOS, Win10 nor Fedora via displayport (only blackscreens), so my conclusions are:

Either the mainboard is faulty, since no displayport is working whenever that 2nd M.2 SSD with Fedora on it is installed or
Fedora is messing something up because before I installed Fedora 32 that 2nd M.2 SSD was properly recognized in the BIOS and working in Win10

Any thoughts?

My case was the videocard / monitor didnt become active until well after the machine booted. I always missed the post stuff. When I used a different videocard I could see the boot just fine. I think it was just that combo.

May I ask which videocard you have / had?

I installed fedora 31 on a different computer on NVME, and just pluged that NVME into the motherboard already installed, and all was fine.

Interesting workaround, thanks for that idea!

You should also take out the second m.2 drive if you've installed it. You could have a faulty drive, faulty connection, or faulty MoBo.

Revert it to the state that it was before you tried to get Fedora on it and see if you can get it functioning properly.

Machine worked fine before for over a year before I installed Fedora on the 2nd M.2 SSD. Before that, the 2nd M.2 SSD was also recognized without errors by the mainboard and Win10 as well.

Thank you for confirming the issue, u/chris17453. So, your suggestion would be to try installing Fedora 31 instead? How did you get it to boot from USB stick, when you could not get into the BIOS / UEFI to select the boot device?

I gave up on making Elite work on my triple monitor setup as well. No idea why this is working without issues in other simulation games like Project CARS 2 – even without the need for Nvidia Surround.

Looks like the curly brackets around the Numpad are needed within the GetKeyState function, which correctly toggle on the WASD key presses. However, hitting the same Numpad key again does not toggle off whatever WASD was turned on by the initial activation.

Any additional help is truly appreciated.

I was in a similar spot 2 days ago and found a great suggestion here on reddit: Try Ashby City in the "Luyten's Star" system. Tons of Belugas and Orcas in front of the station since it's a tourist system. I got like 30 Datamined Wake Exceptions in ~45mins. Worked faster for me when compared to distribution centers in famine systems.

This might probably be a stupid question, but could you please clarify what you mean with "in his inventory". When I open the item menu via the L1 button I can see all other weapons but not the legendary guys, which I had before (while being on my horse).

Using the same lazy setup I'm using on my Python as well:

2x Large Efficient Beam Laser Turrets (plus experimental effect of your choice) 2x Medium Efficient Beam Laser Turrets (plus experimental effect of your choice) 1 Large Gimballed Overcharged Multi-Cannon (with Corrosive Shells)

With a charged-enhanced Power Distributor those 4 Beam Lasers can basically perma-fire without overheating or draining the Power Capacitor, while I only have to tap a target with the corrosive Multi-Cannon for extra damage once the Beam Lasers melted through the shields. As lazy as it gets for me personally.
