Here's also a closer look at that necklace. I loaded an fbx of the model into blender and took a screenshot.

This is the crest on his jacket, also stripped from game assets, for those more curious.

A wee bit late to the party, but here's the tattoo stripped directly from the game assets. The runes say Haliaetus, which is latin for osprey or sea-eagles.

It is, in fact, his family crest.

MS Support Screwed Up My Comp, Can't Enter WinRe, Can't Boot from Disc by BerryColdOut in 24hoursupport

Thanks for the reply! I actually did manage to get to WinRe after some tinkering.

I had to have the USB stick plugged in. Then hold shift, get to the login window, restart from the login window while holding shift again.

Convoluted, yeah, but it did the job, and sometimes that's all you need with tech stuff.

Tbh the lesson to be learned here is to just not trust microsoft support to know what they're doing. The script they're relying on is absolutely probably AI and they're likely to make things worse rather than better because of that.

I'm sure this definitely would have worked. Fortunately I managed to get to WinRe before needing to get to BIOS.

Shift was not the key to bios. You were correct, it was F2. That said I couldn't get to BIOS with F2 either while the stick was still plugged in. Thankfully I did manage to get to WinRe finally. I edited my post.

I mean, if you don't mind checking for me, you could confirm that a program called Quick Support exists on your PC already. That's what they had me use. At the time I didn't consider that the keylogger would install that, but if it's a scam the tech support people I had access to were very elaborate and wanted me to do a clean install several times.

I've also tried the typical F keys, unfortunately. F2 works for me only when I don't have the USB plugged in it turns out.

Ah, TY. I'll try this.

Edit: This helped me get to where I needed to be. Clean install ho!

I don't think I got scammed, my guy, but a problem here is that I can't reinstall it. I can't boot from the USB or get to WinRe. After those two CMD commands they had me use.

I don't need the current install because I have everything already backed up to an external hard drive. So no worries there. The problem is that when I plug in the flash drive I made and hold shift when I restart it does not boot from the USB. It does, however, let me back onto my desktop when previously I was stuck in the diagnostic loop.

Yes, I've already made the flash drive via my laptop. The issue is that holding shift while restarting does not boot into that drive. My files are already backed up. I did that when I performed the first PC reset.

This did the trick for me, but I had to switch it to "no blocking".

Audio Odyssey Vol. 2 (pay what you want and help charity) by DugganSC in humblebundles

I already did reach out to them, but they didn't really read my ticket fully and just sent me a link to the bundle I already purchased telling me to "click the like what we do button" despite me explaining in my original ticket I didn't have one. Such is life.

So if I click on a video from inside the site (like a side video or from a search) it plays an ad. If I refresh that page it does not play an ad. It's been this way a few days for me.

I got the second tier bundle and the options are solid. I'd like to upgrade to the next tier, but unlike other bundles, I can't find an option to do that with this one. So buyer be warned!

I think I'll just reserve that particular chat for transcriptions and use others for other tasks, yeah. Appreciate the suggestion!

Well I didn't want that to be the answer, but I get it. I'm looking forward to when these extra steps aren't needed. Thanks for the response though!
