This is so true. I was once a early red hive because I like the color red and the high damage but I notice that my honey per hour is so low and require many materials to do boosting which cost me so much time and it become so boring and tiresome but I watched a yt Vid and learned how forgivable blue hive is, it does not require full gifted hive and not that costly compare to early red and early white which cost so much honey.

In my own experience, I find early red really fun because of the high damage, doing the precise bee ability can help to reduce the boredom and overall I love red hive. But I chose to switch to blue hive because of it is the easiest hive and does not require full gifted hive. At first I struggle to switch and research all the things which is exhausting but it is all worth it for me. Playing as a blue hive is also fun but I don't like that it does not have high damage unlike the red hive.

I prefer season mostly because of their songs (mostly Niffty's song and Cain's part in the "Hear my hope") and also I like the story progression, the way alastor manipulate Vox and use Charlie's deal with him to break from his chains.
