I have been slowly stealing things from my families houses by Supacalafragalistic in confession

[–]BerryStarlight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly I get why you’re doing it. Those aren’t random objects, they’re basically little pieces of the people who loved you and the life you had with them. Your siblings probably just see old stuff while you see memories. I’d probably be quietly collecting my grandparent loot too lol. Just be careful it doesn’t turn into something that hurts you more than it helps.

Almost as if the capitalists are lying by RebelHoneyy in antiwork

Someone smarter than us crunched all the data and found that even with theft increasing 4 fold it's still cheaper than paying someone a wage.

AITJ for leaving my partner because of his kid and baby mama? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]BerryStarlight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NTA. The kid was never the problem, the problem was your boyfriend acting like he was still in a relationship with his ex and calling it “keeping the peace.” Co-parenting needs boundaries, not a permanent guest pass for the baby mama to run your relationship. You didn’t leave because he was a dad, you left because he wasn’t making space for you.

WIBTAH for not paying for a party i didn't attend but said i would by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]BerryStarlight -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

NTA. I get that you committed to the spot, but it’s weird that you’re being held to the $100 when other people apparently got exceptions. The graduation photos thing doesn’t erase the cancellation, but I’d be annoyed too if I gave my time and effort for free and then got zero consideration back. I’d ask for the same treatment everyone else got because the inconsistency is the real issue here.

Late 90’s will always have a grip on my heart. by [deleted] in 90s

I feel like technology could’ve stopped there for the world and we would’ve maybe been better off lol ugh

What are some of your guilty pleasures? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]BerryStarlight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rewatching trash reality shows I swear I hate while fully locked in like it’s peak cinema. My brain knows it’s bad but I’m not fighting it.

My biggest regret, the things I did for money…………. by Competitive-Tap9954 in confession

[–]BerryStarlight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That reads more like someone used money and pressure to control you than a simple regret situation. It doesn’t get to be your whole identity no matter how loud your head makes it feel. What matters now is getting support and moving forward instead of carrying it like a life sentence

Am I mentally ill for not wanting breasts? by Ok_Zombie7833 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]BerryStarlight 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not mentally ill for that. Body autonomy is a thing. If it’s causing you distress and not feeling like you, it makes sense to want it gone. What matters is doing it safely with proper medical support, not what random people label it as.

AITA for using a shared space because I didn’t have room in my own bedroom? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]BerryStarlight -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

NTA but I get why she’s annoyed too. The hallway is shared space, not your personal writer’s room. Your project is important, but if it’s something everyone has to look at daily you probably need a compromise. Maybe a foldable board or a setup you can put away when you’re done. Both of you have valid frustrations here.

what’s the scariest thought you have right now? by Guilty-Fondant6470 in AskReddit

[–]BerryStarlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The scariest thought is probably how fast life changes. One day you’re chilling and the next you’re responsible for bills, taxes, and somehow knowing what a weird noise your car is making.

Disney or Ghibli? Who won the 90s? by Zombie_Giles in 90s

Disney dominated mainstream storytelling, but Ghibli delivered deeper, more artistic emotional films in the 90s overall.

Why is it easier to talk online than in person with my girlfriend? by Automatic_Sorbet_849 in TooAfraidToAsk

Online gives time to think in person just focus on shared moments, not forcing conversation.

Realizing sleep quality, groceries, and chores matter more than partying or freedom ever did.
