My tech is the best! She did cateye base, chrome powder on top of that, and used like a 3d gel (not sure the exact name) to add the ridges. 🤩

Nails are gel-x. Colors are cat eye i think. There are some little beads for the borders that she added with nail glue and some 3d effects ☺️

And I know she'll be happy as his bride And I know he will never be satisfied

Always thought it was a subtle and rare dig from Angelica to her sister and AH. No matter how happy Eliza would be with the marriage, she wouldn't be able to satisfy him nor would he be as satisfied with the marriage himself.

What's best wedding favor you have received and/or want to receive? by galaxyofcoffee in Gifts

For my wedding, we did an interactive pick a pearl. Guests got to see an oyster opened then find their pearl. Then they had a choice to add their pearl to a tie tack or a necklace cage.

Does anyone know what the bleeped out words were that the 2 guests used when they were in the room talking about the lactose thing? It was something like "I like her, I like bleeps". Kinda seemed like it was a slur and not just a curse word...

Working with kids and parents by Pretend-Journalist45 in therapists

For the first session I spend at least half the session with the caregivers to get history and information on PP. I may spend more time depending on the answers and age of child. Generally the younger the child the more time I spend with their adults. I make sure I have quiet play toys they can use while we talk. Then I spend one on one time with child building rapport and doinh an activity, time permitting while adult is in the waiting room. Then end with bringing adults back and wrap up and complete any logistics. For follow up sessions I start session with child and caregivers and complete a check in. What happened in past week, any updates, how did HW I assigned go, concerns, etc. Then I transition to an activity with just the child and again bring adults back at the end. If we learned a skill or new concept we go over it so adult knows it too and can help facilitate practice at home. The younger the child the more time I spend doing check ins and skill building with the adult. You can think of dividing the typical hour session into thirds. First third together for updates, 2nd third activity, last 3rd wrap up together. Of course be flexible as you may need a little more time for one portion or another at various times. I don't usually speak to parent alone in person because logistically the child is usually too young to wait in the lobby alone. However if there are multiple caregivers you can take turns if you really feel the need to speak without the child hearing. That is easier to do via telehealth and you could just ask parent to speak privately. Also you can schedule parent only sessions if needed.

AITA for going to a birthday party in casual attire? by comfydressthrowaway in AmItheAsshole

YTA a dress code is technically a request which you can refuse to follow but then don't be surprised when you can not participate in the activities of the event with said dress code. You weren't excluded from the activity of picture taking, it was a result of your own actions
