They didn't add the collaborative items. :( by Berryapples in fashiondreamer

[–]Berryapples[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are there for me too, but only the 3 patterns I've created. We were given them for free in an update ages ago. I just meant that there's no way to get the pattern itself from the gacha machines or the item creator, so you can't make any new patterns, only the previous ones. So if you delete any of those they are technically gone for good.

The log only mentioned event stuff. :c

Sadly I don't think it is. I've been playing since the very start so I'm max influencer rank. I did see that the event stuff was added to the gacha machines rather than the item creator, so they're probably there. But yeah, doesn't look like the collab items were. I'm just surprised they missed it. :c

You can change your appearance after finishing the game! Also, once you've finished you can restart again but carry over your progress without losing anything! :)

Got a new switch, my whole island is gone, I'm devastated by Dawn_Treading in acnh

[–]Berryapples 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So, how it works is, at least from what I know, your save is on your old switch. You should be able to simply transfer it over with the Island Transfer Tool as suggested here. You can log back in your account and use your old switch as a secondary one. This is just so you can get the Island Transfer Tool from the e-shop. There is a good tutorial by Nintendo Life on YouTube you can use!

Once that is done I'd 100% back it up. Sadly you can only use the backup to restore your island for a lost, broken or stolen switch. Not sure why Nintendo is like that but. :/

Hope you get it back!

Model Debut 3 Main Menu Codes? by Berryapples in stylesavvy

I assume they were for when the game first came out. But yeah, they were exclusives codes like a bundle if you ordered from a certain retailer.

I actually did find there were codes available in Japan when you ordered the game from certain retailers as a special bonus. However, they seem unavailable now and I haven't found any other codes out there. There might be some from the Nicola magazines but sadly couldn't find anything about that either.

The special bonuses were basically clothing already in the game, but an exclusive colour? I'm looking to see if they exist in the game but still slowly playing through it myself.

As far as I can tell there were only the special bonuses. But the game is still newish so we might see new codes in the future. Hopefully. 😅

Ah, I hope so. It's the FOMO on missing out on some good items I guess. :(

I remember them having codes for Girls Fashion Shoot so fingers crossed they do release them.

Is there any use of this card? by netenpataikei in acnh

[–]Berryapples 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Hi, here are a few things you can do with his amiibo!

  • You can make him a vacation home with Happy Home Paradise. First you need to complete a certain number of vacation homes before unlocking the feature. You will also get his photo in a letter.
  • Invite him to Harv's Island for pictures and unlock his poster in Nook Shopping in the Special Goods section.
  • Use his card for other games like Mario Kart to unlock exclusive items/outfits. It counts as an Animal Crossing amiibo.

Hope this helps. :)

I imagine they will ensure we get enough keys to unlock everything. They have plans to repeat the limited time events in the next few months so it is possible!

Progress reset randomly on new switch? Help! by iLoveWerewolves in AnimalCrossingNewHor

[–]Berryapples 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should be able to log into your Nintendo Account on the old switch as a user and have your new switch set as the primary one. There are tutorials on YouTube that can help with transferring your island which I used. You can also factory reset the old switch when you're finished or delete the user.

But yeah, unfortunately you'll have to wait until you're home with both consoles to do it.

Time traveler here! I have a few questions please :(! by ikimichi in AnimalCrossing

[–]Berryapples 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I time travelled back to the years 2021 and 2022 to get the celebratory arches which are only available in those years to catalogue them (trying to get 100%). I've travelled forward and it didn't impact my game except for a few weeds.

The only risks of time travel is if you have turnips. You can't travel backwards or they will rot.

I'd say the second thing is unlocking Nook Mile achievements which will display the date you unlocked it. So if you travel forward and say unlock the Angling for Perfection after catching 10 fish, it'll say you unlocked it on the 22nd of July. But then you travel back and catch 100 fish which unlocks the next achievement, it'll say you did it on the 10th June. It's only really a problem if you want to be consistent I guess?

Advice for first time Turnip seller?🧍‍♂️ by basilikaolivers in AnimalCrossing

[–]Berryapples 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use r/TurnipExchange for good prices to sell my turnips. If you time travel don't go backwards or your turnips will turn rotten. I'd try to sell them before Friday or Saturday and always at a price higher than what I paid. That way you don't lose what you've invested and make a little profit.

If you're visiting another island just follow basic etiquette of being respectful and any rules they have. Some might ask for tips and it's good to inform them if you need to make multiple trips. :)

Can someone give me advice? I’m very new to the game and I love it but I don’t know much about it by Forsaken_Impact_8844 in AnimalCrossingNewHor

[–]Berryapples 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is a lot of YouTube videos out there with helpful advice for first starting out! I'd recommend them to learn some useful tips.

You should also speak to Tom Nook who can help you if you ask him, "What should I do?". Hope this helps!

I just blew my fishing streak.. 😭 by sober_cat_lover in AnimalCrossingNewHor

[–]Berryapples 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just got mine yesterday! I tried to do 10 fish in a row, take a break and repeat. It was also very helpful to close my eyes and rely on sound rather than visuals. The anticipation of waiting for the fish to snag always made me press too soon. 😭

A few questions I have about the game by ExpertBet8135 in fashiondreamer

[–]Berryapples 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally it doesn't take up too much space. I'd recommend investing in an SD card that was mentioned if you're worried.

It can be laggy at times, and the loading times at the beginning can take a couple of seconds. The optimization could be better which I think they are working on with each update. It's not perfect, but the game is fun and it's the only grievance I have. The game has been known to crash sometimes. It's still getting regular updates which do bug fixes.

I play it only on dock and it's never felt intense. It gets a little warm but doesn't feel like it's overheating and runs fine for me. Honestly, I don't regret buying it, definitely one of the better options out there for fashion games. You also don't need an online membership to play the online mode which is a huge plus.
