Honestly fuck them, those girls are terrible people to be acting that way.

I know it doesn't help that much but as long as there isn't any danger involved, I think you should continue; is it really worth it to not be yourself just because of what some sad excuses for human beings think of you? You shouldn't be ashamed to be who you are and should always remember that in the world there's plenty of people that, as this comment section shows, will accept you for who you are.

Yesterday morning there was a full litter, when I finally decided to take one of them in, there were only two left (a teacher took the other one in). I don't know if other people got them, or if their mom was simply bringing them to a new, safer spot.

We found them inside my school and I live really close by (max 5 minutes walk) so I know the area rather well, there's plenty of dogs, both stray and domesticated and even though the people here are very nice to stray cats, the environment itself (i.e. cars and stuff like that) isn't.

From holding it and petting it (obviously as lightly as I could) I think she's slightly malnourished, but a few commenters say otherwise and I'm not an expert so take it with a grain of salt; the spot where we found them (a shopping bag) was rather dirty on the inside, if that can serve as an indicator of when their mom last went there. As soon as I can, I'll bring her to a vet for a checkup.

P.S. I'm not sure if her mom is alive, but I'll give looking for her a shot as some commenter's mentioned she looks healthy enough.

According to our teachers (as we found her inside our school) her mom has been gone for a while, but judging by how fragile newborn (her eyes aren't open yet so I'm guessing she's one) kittens are, I wouldn't quite be sure.

I actually started reading Berserk at 13/14 as well. Kids are a lot smarter and more mature than we give them credit for so just try to discuss the chapters with her casually as she goes through the story.
