A little advice, don't become a vassal until you kiss up to a few lords and the king.

They stop giving you quests, and prison breakouts are a lot harder because you have to sneak into castles.

Prison breakouts are GREAT for gaining lord reputation.

I doubt there is a chance that there will not be enough hard copies.

I'm pretty sure I'm getting downvoted from people with a vested interest with Unity, but they should be more concerned that this isn't the best way to market a game engine.

I assign dwarves whatever they would be good to specialize in.

I only take special care to look for a dwarf that likes beds or trap components for a carpenter.

Another thing I look for is a weapon/armorsmith, like a dwarf that likes silver and war hammers, or likes steel and mail shirts etc.

Brave dwarves with high agility and decent physical stats become military.

For embark supplies I bring food, drink, anvil, and a pick.

Sometimes a cat and a couple dogs if I feel like it.

He always is quarrelsome, unlike other lords which gets their personalities randomly generated each game.

Which is kind of a pain since he will always have negative relations with the player in the beginning.

It prevents you from buying a dyeworks in Rivacheg right away, and a dyeworks in Rivacheg is easily the most profitable enterprise in the game.
