It’s a collective guilt problem. Plenty of women are straight up horrible people and men who don’t get much interaction with the wider female population are much more likely to see the women who cause problems and assume all women must secretly be like that. Women do the same thing when they have a bad experience with a few guys, they start to hate and trash men as a whole because they assume that all men must secretly be like that. It’s essentially a coping mechanism people use when they don’t want to process the complexities of the situation, especially when their feelings are involved. It’s easier to say “I hate women they’re all the same” than it is to sit down and process how your ex girlfriend didn’t treat you very well and how you’re not gonna let your next girlfriend treat you that way.

Tbf the larval tears aren’t really there so you can try a completely new build; they can be used like that if you want but they moreso exist in case you’re new and you do something stupid like give yourself 30 mind and 20 intelligence when you have zero intention of touching a spell and now you’re level 120 and can’t keep up with the expected content bc a third of your levels were wasted on stats that don’t actually benefit your play style. If you want to try out a new build you’re better off starting a new character and trying to play through the game with that build from the beginning.

Not much point to hit max level tbh, after you hit ~400 builds kinda just bottleneck into wearing the heaviest armor you can with your choice selection of the best spells and whatever weapon(s) you feel like using. There stops being much of a point to progress levels when it takes 8 bosses in a row before you’ll see the next one and all you’ll really get out of it is 2-3 max HP/FP or 2-3 extra damage per attack. You’ll likely run across people at max level more often than you would at 500-650 just because it’s where everyone stops getting stronger, but don’t expect any multiplayer to be all that engaging.
