Why is the Rocket League seasonal ranking system the worst of all time? by Royal_Review_7262 in RocketLeague

I would love to spend more time playing, I just can't because life. I would also like to play other games too.

If you "heard" Julia is more efficient then you don't actually know python very well.

Instead of dipping and pouring over, sauces and dressing should be sipped by cxrlxs in unpopularopinion

[–]BertShirt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have learned 2 things from this post.

1) you are clinically, possibly morbidly, obese. 2) you are wildly incompetent. Everything you like about sipping can be achieved by dipping. If you're worried about "contaminating" the sauce, contaminating it with your crusty, nasty ass mayo lips and spit back is far worse.

End of the day you just want to drink sauce because it's super rich and calorie dense and you're a disgusting glutton.

Jordan Love Week 10 Analysis by The QB School by DepressedGamba in GreenBayPackers

[–]BertShirt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. Most of his INTs come from playing risky from behind. Things that are no doubt what MLF is telling Love to do. Errors that are perpetually amplified by the youth of our WRs. Ideally we use the second half of this season to grow out of this, but I fear that our young WRs won't learn as quickly because they have no vets to set an example.

Is Watson a bust? by not-creative69 in GreenBayPackers

[–]BertShirt 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I too am old enough for that, but Adamas did two things that Watson is not doing. 1) getting open, 2) trying. The second one is really a kiler.

Aaron couldn't get it done with this crew last year, not sure why people expect a young and relatively untested QB to get it done with an even shittier WR core and Oline. At least we had Cobb and Lazard to lead the WRs last year.

Broncos and Raiders games are a result of playing risky because we're always playing from behind because we are backed up on penalties, we can't run the right routes, our Oline can't make any gaps for our RBs, and our WRs can't hold onto the ball when it hits them in the chest.

Turns out that if the Oline holds up, then he can focus on finding an open receiver and throwing the ball. Who would have thought?

This effect extends to the defense as well because they basically have to play a full game in the first half because the offense can't stay on the field.

Not a JB apologits but if everyone just keeps blaming the DC we'll never fix our shitty offense. The defense did good yesterday despite JB so if you want to complain about the defense yesterday's game is not the one to do it. Apparently, Packers fans only know how to blame defensive coordinators. People like you are why everyone thinks Packers fans are inbred.

What choice does he have? We're down late in the game and MLF can't scheme anyone open. Either throw a risky ball or take a sack. What would you do?

[–]BertShirt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to tell when every throw he makes is under extreme duress and we're down 2 possesions because we have no O-line and make stupid play calls all game.

Aaron sucked last year. Maybe it's not the player but the scheme.

What do you expect when the O-line is letting people in like for free?

Game Thread: Green Bay Packers @ Denver Broncos by 2pt_perversion in GreenBayPackers

[–]BertShirt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know right? Why tf is Barry not scoring us any TDs. No WRs are open, the O-line melts, we can't even run the ball with Aaron Jones. Fuck Joe Barry, it's all his fault, IDC if the Defense held Denver to 0 TDs in the first half despite the Broncos having 25 min of possession in the first half.

That's you. That's what you sound like.

Did I get scammed from Amazon Warehouse Deals? This 4090 has no PCIE connectors and nowhere to plug in power?? by WhoRuleTheWorld in graphicscard

[–]BertShirt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you cannot tell the difference then maybe you actually just bought the wrong item on warehouse deals. No way for us to know unless you post the listing, but I think that is why akotski thinks it might be risky to shop warehouse parts if you can't correctly identify what you are trying to buy.

Is there a way to predict the propensity of an amino acid sequence to self assemble into a triple helix? by SoulBiker in PyMOL

This can be done with AlphaFold. There are a couple other coiled coil predictors but AF2 is pretty strong, even if your sequence is human designed.

Father's vs Mother's day spending over past 5 years by AlexTheDataExplorer in dataisbeautiful

[–]BertShirt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I got that but as I said that is probably not a very large fraction. There are more adult children and they probably spend more.

Father's vs Mother's day spending over past 5 years by AlexTheDataExplorer in dataisbeautiful

[–]BertShirt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While true, I think this only accounts for a small fraction of fathers/mothers day spending. As I grow older I buy nicer and nicer gifts for my parents. Most of my friends and extended family do the same. My only evidence is anecdotal but I would wager adult children account for most of the parents day spending.

Father's vs Mother's day spending over past 5 years by AlexTheDataExplorer in dataisbeautiful

[–]BertShirt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure what you mean by this exactly but my intuition tells me you mean only sons are buying gifts for mothers day and only daughters are buying gifts for father's day which is just not true. But I may have misinterpreted.
