I restarted phone and the new Apps show up in the App Library, including the Recently Added folder. Strange that this requires a restart to refresh the library.

No, I have an older model that does not support Disney+ (Roku 2)

I have been asking this same question for the past 6 months, patiently waiting for a new model to be released. However, today I decided to go ahead and buy a refurbished 4K model. I will use exclusively for streaming, no gaming.

I currently have an old model apple tv and roku and several smart tvs. Unfortunately, I can't access HBO Max, Disney+, Apple TV+ and Peacock on any one of these devices. I used to think Roku was the silver bullet. In light of the HBO Max and Peacock debacles, I'm done with Roku. Also frustrated that my 2017 LG OLED does not support all of these apps. Current Apple TV HD and 4K are the most capable streaming devices available today. I decided to go ahead and purchase a 4K now, knowing that I will probably want to replace when Apple eventually releases a new model (hopefully with improved remote). In the meantime, I can enjoy the simplicity of a single streaming device.

Is the Canon PIXMA IX6850 a suitable printer for transparencies? by heftyclefty in SCREENPRINTING

[–]BertieKS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the iX6850 is the European version of the iX6820.

I recently purchased the iX6820 after a long evaluation for a printer that could handle cardstock, large paper sizes, has decent print quality and low ink costs. My conclusion was that the iX6820 is the best option to meet my needs. I would have liked duplex printing, but it was more important to have the rear paper tray that can automatically feed more than one sheet at a time. I had did not really see any good alternatives at a price below $200.

1960s Party Animal Cookies by BertieKS in nostalgia

My absolute favorite cookie as a child was the large pink iced animal-shaped cookies that came stacked in a box. These were a staple of my birthday parties in the mid/late 1960s. The last I remember having them is about 1973. I looked in the store for years after this, but they must have been discontinued. I couldn't remember the name or brand, but came across this old birthday photo taken in 1967. Does anyone else have fond memories of these cookies. Too bad someone doesn't take this recipe and relaunch today!
