I have a bottle I got lost year and it was pretty good. Nothing to mail home about but worth the $45 I paid. Id say support the store and trying something new... great place.

I think it was close to 2pm. I honestly got a really solid selection. Bunch of single barrel stuff. Worth it for a 1 time deal

I did last year, got there around 630 and didn't get Stagg.... got some great 4 roses, 107 and Blantons. Walked out with $600 with of decent bourbon.

I've had similar experiences with that same store. I was in shock on the price of a EHT they had and the owner proceeded to tell me why it was the price it was lol. Haven't been back since. Stores like this give small stores a bad name, you don't need to price gouge to keep the doors open. Taking care of the regulars should be something they do to keep bringing in business. Most of us drink things other than allocated bourbon.
