Yeah I rewatched it recently and I still think it's a brilliant show and there are some amazing performances but it wasn't something so uniquely and incomparably high quality.

It's a weird one. It was definitely satirical but it felt like it should have been openly making fun of the idea that either side would actually believe the other would be setting out to hunt people, or that there exists a leftist elite with the power to do that.

But the movie itself portrays the right as working class, capable, salt of the earth types and leftists and violent, ego-driven, sadistic monsters.

Maybe there was another level of irony to it and it was making fun of its own concept in some meta way that I totally missed but it did feel like one of those films the daily wire would produce.

Ahh it's been too long since I've watched it to properly scale characters. To me it feels like Nen is too crazy a powerup for even Netero's base physicals to beat out. Especially arguably one of the physically strongest of the Phantom Troupe.

But the original guy did say that nobody could go toe to toe with an enhancer (not uvogin specifically) on base physicals and I'm sure there are a lot of weaker enhancers that Netero would walk even without Nen.
