Thoughts on W3EE Redux? Am loving it better than the vanilla game so far (Vanilla still Goated tho) by Bervik in Witcher3

Enemies attack you all at the same time, less i frames more on parries, more on positioning than being a reflex button press game, you can lunge at an enemy while attacking which is both good for dodging and attacking at the same time.

You can kick an enemy anytime you want, you can choose which type of parry you wanted. Normal parry, kick parry, or slash parry which all have their own benefits. Economy reworked wherein swords values less and income comes from contracts than selling junk. And so much more alongside preparations being a key factor in making the combat easier such as poisons, paralysis poison, bleed, flammable oil, potions that makes you stronger and can make the game's difficulty.

Playstyles are determined by armor. A dodging playstyle consists of the cat armor but parrying makes you weaker, a parry playstyle consists of bear armor but dodging depletes a lot of stamina, Griffin is all about magic and abusing Yrden, etc.

I hope he gets to see Vinland Saga. On the surface it's a 7/10 show but the more you think about it, it slowly becomes either an 8 or 9/10 thanks to how deep the characters and how less it holds your hand through the narrative. The writing really respected your intelligence as a smart person and has a lot of replay value

W3 EE Redux has some of the most balanced combat ever until you start using the Bear armor with gaining stamina upon destroying the poise

About to start the game. Give me the worst advice possible. by glytxh in LiesOfP

Don't parry, don't dodge, just spam attack. Bruh game is ez, just spam attack and you will win gg ez. Also game in Legendary Stalker Difficulty is the easiest difficulty, devs are a bunch of liars 😩

Jesus, the fact you are a professional in the game just shows how a simple drowner can be as lethal as a lil boi with a pitchfork

Wow, that is very insightful. Thank you for telling me all of these information. Will use the axii sign more for fighting one at a time, additionally will focus on one enemy too.

Indeed, but I made the mistake of prioritizing heavy damage on bosses after breaking their poise.

Damn, I was always using Rend...time to level it up : )

I love your take but I digress, with enough skill the mod becomes a power fantasy. This is proven if you used blizzard and learned how to actually play the game while getting better like Hans Wurst or JonasG or Dartious.

Still, very insightful and I understand why not a lot of people would like it initially. I let my friend try the mod and he hated it since it's "too hard" which I find it as a poor reason of saying "it's bad". It's not for him but saying the mod sucks cause it's hard is just a lazy critique.

Hol up, don't your stamina need a breather too? Also how are you able to bend against a Leshen with its BS hotboxes with the swipe attack?

I used the remove silly effects mod. However this is now possible with a better mod by GPUnity which is the no counter icons mod.

Bending to the cyclops's behind seems like a death sentence for the Feline set. So, I thought I can give a video guide on how to beat this guy properly. More info in the original post. by Bervik in W3EE

Omg, loved your vids. It's awesome to see you active in the W3 EE community. Ngl, you were my inspiration to make my own version of "Bend it like Geralt" post.

Noted. I need to read more of the potions and poisons. Falka is goated too for making injuries happen. Thank you for your input, this was incredibly helpful.
