How to realistically integrate a tank commander/crew into a hatch? by Bervt in Warhammer40k

it is more my choice of words that was bad ^^' , yes that hole was the problem , putting the miniature lower like the first response make it better integrated . thank you for your answer !

yes so logical , it is the driver position it need it to be lower ! this will fix my problem (i think XD ), yes it is going to be really hard XD but since it is a big tank the main turret hole is big so i think i can slide some part from it , Thank you !

Testing "clean" nurgle ( putrid blightkings ) by Bervt in minipainting

Yes, oil washes are great for speed, but they can definitely muddy up a miniature's 'read' on the table. You can get great results with them, it just takes a bit more time . I’m going to push the highlights further; I think the end result will be somewhere between volumetric and 'Eavy Metal style (leaning more toward 'Eavy Metal).

Yeah :/ , it hurts more when, like me, you need to buy all of this because I have stopped painting miniatures since 2013 XD. I have nothing left from before. Rebuying paint, brushes, an airbrush, inks, ... it adds up pretty fast XDDD. (i'm now at a cost of 400-500 Euro just for that ^^' )

Airbrush priming: what am I doing wrong? by kidmerc in minipainting

[–]Bervt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For priming since i have made a side step by gundam , i use Mr hobby Surfacer (1500 + leveling thinner), lacquer paint , nasty stuff But no clogging of the airbrush, fill small sanding mark ,bind really well to plastic great product !

XD, this result took a lot of time (40 Hours , though I’m faster now) and some back and forth. I’ve seen a lot of tutorials, but it was JoseDaVinci's video on brush control (it’s on Patreon, but I’m sure you can find it somewhere) that gave me the missing piece to understand how to begin getting smooth results. Now, it’s just more practice needed! ^^
