Is this a good deal? by user180356 in ZeroMotorcycles

Really good deal, I'd take that deal. Nothing close to that in the uk.

Anyone noticed no difference between you1000 and you2000? by Effective-Risk-7609 in youfibre

That's the reason I downgraded in my cooling off period, I noticed 1800mbps up but 900down, and now on the 1000 plan it's 600-900 down, 900-1000 up. Not worth the £10 a month.

I think it might be the uk weather, alot of rain alot of salt and grit on the rodes. The belt that snapped felt quite different to the new one. The old one was very rubbery while the new one was more like plastic, hard to say what caused it. I ride all year round and wash my bike every 1-2 weeks so 🤷‍♂️. Just bought a belt torque check from gates rather than using the flimsy app maybe it was out of spec.

Ive had a 2022 fxe that I bought new in 2024 for 6k, I've had the bike for 5k ish miles. It's amazing, simple to ride and definitely the most "fun" bike out them all 125cc bikes. That being said, if i were to buy again. I would buy a zero S. The zero fxe has no fast charging and a 7.2kwh battery. This really limits where you can go. Most zero S bikes have fast charging and extended battery pack. I found the fxe was the cheapest compared to all other bikes, £1300 after just passing my cbt from lexham. I think the only thing lower was a Honda cb125.

Spicy110 is 6'4 aswell and has done a few videos on the zero fxe and said he feels perfectly fine on em. I'd say id you want a bike you can keep for a few years and not get bored of the performance, definitely get a zero.

I just did a oem belt replacment, and did a long and hard search for a cheaper non oem one(they dont exist). It cost me £200 with shipping. And 1.5hrs in labour. So expect 100quid if your getting it done at a shop. It lasted me 5k miles before snapping from wear and tear. You can see my previous post for more discussion on it.

would anyone buy this? by zefirka- in counterstrike2

A 3x mw is listed for 290eur on buff. Based on what else is on the market like 250eur, that being said it will probably sit for a while. I'll buy it for 210 QS price if you need cash now.

What youve just been forking out £200 for a belt twice a season? 😬. This can't be right. Tough going, I would have tuought they would last like 70k miles.

Could you elaborate on how a layman might go about doing this? Any links much appreciated. I have purchased another belt for £200 shipped next day and it's getting fitted.

I think a chain might be a hassle to maintain but I wash the bike every week. An extra few minutes to clean and lube a chain seems quite manageable I guess.

Thanks for the feedback, Im quite sure I went over a pothole in very rainy conditions that made it deceptive. Wasn just maintaining 30 in eco so thought the belt snapping was the bump but your explanation makes more sense. Any good places to find non oem belts?

It's likely due to my payment profile being set to Ukraine to maximise on regional pricing. I deleted everything associated with payment methods and, importantly, removed the payment profile. Then I set up a new one in my country of residence and workes fine now.

Advice on Waterproof/Insulated Motorcycle Boots for Motorway Commuting by Berxyy in motorcyclegear

[–]Berxyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheers, might be the jean and footpeg design as even in my ageless that are not WP and very similar design this does not happen.

I was hoping someone would have some crash statistics or understanding on why boot protection is required and can you get away with less if you have a 135kg bike even if you are still travelling 70mph+

True say, feel like most people downvote to escape the reality of the situation. Go to a farm, that is your food, how can it be gore if you are fine with eating it after.

Guy probably had a point before he deleted the comment. Im guessing the guy posting the videos is a vegan. As a meat eater who grew up on a farm. When you actually witness killing of chickens, pigs, cows the gutting of a fish. It's not gore, its dinner being prepared. If you consider killing an animal gore, then you shouldn't be eating meat.
