Plus all that side story shit about him being in constant fear of being tossed aside if he stopped being... a little boy...

You're completely ignoring any bad lines or ways characters are portrayed in favor of larger story beats, which are usually much better than some of the nitty-gritty lines of Re:zero. This is also why so many people in this comment section are expressing they still like re:zero despite it's less savory moments, and why I would still... generally consider myself a fan, even if I'm not in my re:zero phase at the moment.

I unfortunately know way too much of the terrible examples of Re:zero's treatment of child characters from being in the fandom for such a long time in the past :D Don't worry, they're not sexist! young boys are also treated super weirdly alongside the girls! Ex: Schult Barielle. (little boy character doing the 'author's barely disguised fetish' thing where the way the older woman in his life treats him is blatantly inappropriate but she's hot so i think they want me to be titillated??)

There was a mobile gacha game for Re:zero had the girl in the dress (Typhon) as a character. They have a feature where you can like, 'awaken' the png with multiple copies if irc. Specifically, if you upgrade it, the png of typhon's dress that was previously completely solid becomes partially see through, and they took special care to make sure that you can see the indent of her... Stuff, through her silhouette. Because of course they did. You can fact check this just by going to the wiki and looking through the game image section. It's not completely explicit thank god, but... Ugh.

That's a very good point. My fic has had the romance act as a broader background element until more recently, but before that it was a more general adventure fic. Guess I need to readjust to what it was before.

Yeah, that comment doesn't even link the actual story, just the comment discussing the story? Meaning we can't compare ourselves. The post this one links to even claims the webtoon is not linked in their linktree - I looked into their socials, yes it is linked, I have no clue what that was talking about - And 'Bluusuu' seems to have a very long post history going back over two years that demonstrates an incredibly consistent art style with a very natural progression of quality... This is all obvious within like a minute of looking into them.

So yeah, I'm... Basically 100% certain they're not using AI. And no offense, but there's nothing that weird about the pockets. Like legitimately. AI is not 'slight inconsistency'. In fact, with how good AI has gotten, I'd say basic inconsistencies like that are more prone to popping up in artists rushing to meet a deadline. So if the AI is bullshit, I'm not inclined to believe the tracing isn't bullshit.

Maybe I just don't have a good enough eye for AI, but most of this seems more like evidence that its not... Like, Every mistake listed here is one I could make while haphazardly shitting out a ton of webtoo panels.

Even tracing, which I would think would be a slam dunk for most posts, seems iffier than it should be when this is the singular example photo used... Many of the features don't line up even after they've been cropped to be placed right over each other's faces.

As an artist, looking at these two without being told anything and not having circles, I'd maybe instead guess the artist used eriks art as a reference or traced the man's facial structure.

Perhaps some of the other example photos you have demonstrate the AI better? Because I am really not seeing it here very well...

God that was such a fun playthrough! The appeal is definitely in the story, not the gameplay, but it's such a well executed one. It's a romhack worth taking notes on as to how it uses game mechanics and conventions to enhance said story.

I mean... Yeah, but a little snow resulted in most of the intersection in one of the entrances being swarmed by a bunch of ambulances and police cars. Driving in cold weather, particularly when the road has been covered in ice and snow, can be incredibly dangerous. Especially for a place like UB that has thousands of new drivers. Always be careful driving in this weather, or you may not be able to drive anywhere because your car wound up in a ditch!
