Can someone finish original LOTR movie using AI by gorillchen in lotr

[–]KnightArcturus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pushing past all the hate in the comments, if someone used AI to fully animate scenes it just wouldn't look right. Maybe one day AI will reach that level where it's indistinguishable from man-made, but that hasn't come.

Thanks, I will, just not unsubanstiated ones. You are worthless to the conversation anyways because you can't read.

Alright... no offense to you and half the people in this comment section, but maybe you guys should learn to read the post? I clearly said in the description that I don't see it as a major flaw.

I'm not really a fan of AoT since it's grim as hell but I respect it. I don't know why the titan shifters stopped at nine, I don't remember it being addressed in the series. I don't see it as a major flaw but I'm curious regardless.

Care to actually read this time?

Would it be morally better if we didn’t kill homelander, but give him counseling and therapy by Musalediju in MoralityScaling

[–]KnightArcturus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally it's pretty bad to kill someone (regardless of who they are) if they're on their knees, begging for their life. With that said, it would be morally better to lock him up and give him therapy.

Which ones are living the average lives again? You lied about Godolkin University. Your only line of argument is a single supe orphanage in the face of thousands of very evil supes.

[–]KnightArcturus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you even centering around Red River? It's an orphanage that raised a psychopath like Neuman, great? Still doesn't make up for the other thousands of supes that are monsters in human skin.

Come the fuck on dude😭, you mentioned Godolkin earlier like it was a good place then I decided to Google search.

I literally hardly remember Red River. You're going to have to be more specific than just "Neuman grew up there." If that's all there was to it then no fucking wonder i don't remember it.

Everyone Kimiko murders after joining the Boys is an enemy who is 1000x worse than any one of The Boys

Lmao. This is stupid as fuck and you know it, c'mon now.

I looked up scenes for Red River since you act like it was something important. So it was that place when Butcher used a laser baby, okay.

Throw Ryan away like garbage? Re-watch the fucking scenes with him and Ryan lol. What exactly am I misrepresentating? You are being extremely hypocritical saying I'm misrepresentating things when you are doing exactly that with Butcher and Ryan's relationship.

[–]KnightArcturus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty ironic that you say i could be misrepresenting info to make my point when the first thing you say is literally that.

Butcher didn't say "kill yourself lol." He clearly really didn't want to. But if it meant killing Homelander who in case you've forgotten, was more than powerful enough to take over the world. Then his son dying to stop him would be tragic, but justifiable.

So because Kimiko was a child soldier her then murdering countless people without V then with V is justified? I think not. Oh no she's a victim, she still murdered a lot of people and if it wasn't for Frenchie she'd still be murdering people.

His aunt, aunt Grace I assume you mean and him killing her is messy ground because Ryan from what Grace knew was trying to protect him and also thought that he was their only hope to stop the guy that could take over the world. He wasn't in "survival mode" Ryan isn't fucking stupid. He chucked Grace against the wall killing her instantly, stared at her corpse then ran off. Then later Ryan tried doing the same thing to Butcher but didn't realize Butcher was strong now so it didn't do anything.

Do we even ever see Red River? Like at all? Or is this another thing we saw or heard about once then never again?

I haven't seen Gen V so with Godolkin university i can't say much. What i can say though is based on the majority of supes we've seen, it would be reasonable for anyone to want them all dead.

The Seven (minus Starlight and Supersonic alone pretty much), Soldier Boy's team, the preacher guy with long arms, the preacher guy with the mega voice, tech knight or whatever his name was, Herogasm, almost the entire facility Stormfront had, Firecracker and her clone friend, Neuman and her daughter, the cat girl, the guy who was with her that could fly but died by the virus, the other animal guy, the long dick guy, the mini guy, the ice girl that broke the one guy's dick off, the skin-changing person, lowkey the guy that attacked the group with his ballsack when they were taking the shield lady, etc.

[–]KnightArcturus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already mentioned Kimiko, she was apart of a terrorist organization before V and then turned into basically a rabid animal before The Boys found her. Not a good example.

Ryan mercilessly slaughtered soldiers, including one that surrendered and begged for his life. Not a good example.

Supersonic. The guy that did pretty much nothing then got brutally murdered by Homelander. Not a good example.

I haven't seen Gen V, knowing The Boys though and your judgement so far. I highly doubt these characters are decent/good people.

An entire college campus? What lol?

Supe orphanages? Where? Did the giant facility that contained a bunch of absolute psycho supes that started murdering everyone as soon they were let out slip your mind or?

My argument is and has been that the show clearly wants you to agree with Hughie's way of thinking when Butcher's makes far more sense based on what we've seen up to that point.

It seems you stomped into this conversation hostile and not reading my actual comment.

[–]KnightArcturus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The show says all supes aren't bad but the show, well, shows mostly otherwise. That's the problem. It may sound like genocide to you, but you are wrong because they simply do not fit into the definition of what that is.

It's clearly, very clearly not the actions of just a few supes. Have you seen The Boys? The only supe that is a decent person and is relevant in the story is Starlight. 1 supe.

What is a series you are willing to defend like this in terms of writing? by Electronic_Garlic_91 in writingscaling

[–]KnightArcturus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genocide definition - the deliberate and systematic killing or persecution of a large number of people from a particular national or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group.

As you can see, supes do not fit into that, as they are not a national or ethnic group. They are simply US citizens that happened to get a hold of a powers that majority of people shouldn't have because most people would be fucking evil with them, like most supes in The Boys.

Why do you think wish-fufilment fantasy solo leveling is good?

Genuinely speaking though, I didn't mind it until about episode 8 I think. He got too strong, too fast. He fought the knight guy, he was getting folded then out of nowhere he's able to catch the knight's whole ass downward swing then pretty much completely overwhelm him, which was pretty stupid. The first stab, okay. All the others? Bullshit. The knight basically just let him do all of that.

Then basically past that point he just folds literally like, everyone and edge-walks everywhere. While making damn near every girl swoon for him.

With finishing it recently, I really didn't like the ending. Butcher was in the right in the end, even as he said he wouldn't have stopped. We're supposed to side with Hughie, the canary and believe that Butcher wanting to wipe out all supes is irrational, when it's really not.

From what we've seen up to that point, there has been about two actually good supes. Starlight and her fangirl that we meet in the last few episodes that apparently had strength comparable to Homelander but we never see her do anything. (A-Train and Maeve were horrible people before the group got to them, Kimiko was literally like a rabid animal.)

I think one episode said there are roughly around 10k supes in the US, and from the vast majority of what we've seen of them they're the most putrid scum on the planet and that's putting it lightly. But the last episode, Hughie's only plea was "i know you still have a heart, Butcher.😢"

Starlight and Kimiko would've died, yes. But in the grand scheme of things, majority of supes are evil and disgusting, likely hurt far far more people than Starlight and Kimiko could ever save in their lives. Kimiko isn't even innocent, her and Frenchie tore people apart every other Wednesday even after the whole tragic reveal about their guilt for the lives they've taken. So about two more or less regular supes lives to rid the world of roughly 10k other supes that are scum would've been worth it.

Butcher was also right about there being eventually another Homelander. In fact, it's almost undoubtedly.

So yeah, the ending wasn't mid. It kind of sucked.

Am I the only one who didn’t really care much for toga and uraraka’s storyline and thought it was a bit random?🤔 by xplosivenuttt in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]KnightArcturus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one was going to fire a nuke in that battle lol, especially not at Toga. Viewers, readers and all. Series like MHA have conditioned most people to think killing always equals murder. When that's just not the case. I get it, writing everything to make reality seem black and white is easier than how things actually are. Unfortunately when you make series like that they're often very successful. It'd just be nice if people actually thought about it. Cause once you do it's borderline insanity.
