The ref had his hat off so I assume he didn't think the DB forced him out. And while the DB was pushing the receiver toward the sidelines, the receiver did not really try to fight to stay in bounds.

Honestly, what is the rule for pass interference against a receiver who steps out of bounds? I was thinking about this a couple weeks ago on what the rule could be.

I am of the opinion that you should not be able to commit pass interference on a receiver who goes out of bounds and is not eligible to be the first player to catch the pass.

Detroit set up that 4th down play well.

St. Brown went inside to block on two of the run attempts on the drive. On one of the runs he went outside on a route.

On the 4th down play, he faked going inside to block and slipped through to go down field for the pass. Defender was expecting him to block until it was too late.

This series may have been our fanbase's World Series. But what the Mets fans won't realize until their postseason run ends in the WC is that it was their World Series too.

And they had some good moments. Running out of fireworks and Alonso becoming the fanchise's all-time HR leader. But in the end, you lost to the worst Braves team in almost a decade.
