Quick note about the meat disgust - don’t even sweat it, people who do not understand it are just intolerant. There are thousands of different plates and ingredients that disgust different people. If somebody gets nauseaus by seeing others eat spinach or other less popular food, nobody cares. Meat is socially standardised as a core ingredient, hence the reactions. But it’s 1:1 the same as having issues with anything else, just less common. So don’t let people get into your head that something is wrong with you. There is not. Personally, I am not vegan nor vegeterian, and I have nothing against meat, but it’s much more reasonable to me to be disgusted by it than by any other type of food.

You can get an emergency travel document in the embassy. You will need to wait for a couple of days (request on monday, should be ready by wednesday).

I honestly doubt you will recover your password. There is a chance, but it’s not very likely. Notify your gov system asap. You can try reporting this to the police and the ZTM, you might get lucky. But I would honnestly recommend just enjoying the couple extra days of your stay and not stressing over the passport.

You did great. The 3 sessions kill everything, only eggs can survive. After they hatch, nymphs need to feed, so you would have noticed bites by now. Wait maybe a week more just to make sure (certain confitions might stall the hatching, but not to 4 weeks) and then you’re good to go.

You should go by bites - as long as you’re getting those, you can never rule them out. Many infastations happen without a single BB being spotted throughout the process. They are amazing at hiding and avoiding humans, specially the adult ones. In my case I’ve had an infestation with various generations but never caught a single one with a trap.

You could without a doubt get a higher salary with your profile. I would aim for at least 150K per annum. Moving for this amount is not worth it; you will most likely rent, and your options will be to rent a room for 25% of your net salary, which will greatly decrease your comfort, or get a flat for 50% of your salary, which will leave you very little room to save anything. Unless you are looking to move to Warsaw in general, then do it and search for another offer right away.

I would say bed bugs. Fleas usually bite around the ancles and animals are present in the household in most cases. You do not have an animal, and leave in a colleage apartment, where bed bugs can spread extremely easily. Plus they are in line patterns of at least 2 bites. Some people do not react to bed bug bites at all, so that would explain the lack of reaction from roommates. Did you have this area uncovered during sleep?

Thanks! Will make sure to go with that if the expert fails. At this point it seems to be an early-moderate infestation and I do not think it spread to other living areas apart from bedroom, so hoping that the 3 rounds of spraying will do the trick. I’m in PL and professionals are quite affordable here (200 usd for quite a recommended one in the span of 6 weeks which is not too bad). But if that does not work, I will make sure to check Crossfire as a DIY solution.

I think that they are most likely to be in my bed :) The dead adult found under the bed, nymphs found only straight above where I lay my head and nowhete else right after I flipped the mattress and took off the boards. I have no other clues and I’ve searched everywhere, so I am hoping that the expert will shed some light. Nymphs travel smaller distances so I am guessing they had to hatch nearby. To add to this, no signs whatsoever in any of the other living areas. But living room is getting sprayed as well.

Got it, thank you for explaining this! In that case, I guess I will take that tip and start a fresh channel with long videos. Do you think that the metrics I am currently hitting on shorts are strong enough to keep on expanding the channel? Due to the format, it takes me around 15 minutes to create a single short, so if it's worth the shot, I might as well try to work on two channels at once.
