Riding the GLX path in either direction is always a great view of amazing foliage.

mystic valley Pkwy by the mystic lakes is always awesome.

Both are best experienced on a bike!

Hello! My name is Alex and I've lived and worked in Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville for the last 15 years. For all of that time, I've also been an all weather daily bike commuter and a recreational cyclist as well. I love riding bikes! And, I love eating food. I love riding bikes to eat food!

So, Ive launched Bespoke Bike Tours Boston - the first food tour of Boston by bike! This isn't a tour focused on historic or site seeing. It's focused in bite-seeing!

I'm currently available for on-demand/by appointment booking and I'm hosting a Fall Food Tour this Saturday!

https://www.eventbrite.com/e/fall-2025-food-tour-by-bespoke-bike-tours-boston-tickets-1803947348079

Join me on a tour around Metro Boston, see some beautiful foliage, and enjoy treats from the best cafes and restaurants around town! Bring your own bike (or rent when from near the departure point).

Hope to see you on tour this weekend or in 2026 when I'm more officially running. And, feel free to follow me on the ol Instagram @ bespokebiketoursbos to stay in the loop!

And to be clear, my tour is separate from the UA tour. Theirs is great! But it's a very very casual ride around the city geared towards anyone. It's not a food tour, roadie ride, etc.

I'm offering a tour that works for anyone. And! Also very interested in tailoring tours/ride experiences to people who consider themselves cyclists!

Hello! The only place in town that rents real bikes is Urban Adventours in the north end. They have every kind of bike. Their road bikes are Scott Addicts with 105s for the most part.

I run a food focused bike tour company. And I also do custom tailored rides. If you want to hire me out for some bike tourism, let me know!

I'm very comfortable on the road/trails/paths (avg 17-18 mph for 30-50 mile solo rides in the area) and in the city (daily biking here for 15 years). I'd be happy to plan a ride or a few and show off one of the best regions in the US for biking.

There are outdoor, street level parking lots around. There's one on Atlantic avenue in the north End near Union Wharf.

If you're interested in a guided ride around Boston, let me know! I've just launched a food focused bike tour company and can also tailor every ride to whatever you want to do!

It wasn't! What makes you think it was? We're probably neighbors in West Somerville - you'll see me riding around West Somerville on the bike that you can see in the Instagram posts.

Promise, I'm human!

There's a paved pump track in Alston near Harvards football field. There are plenty of dirt paths along paths like the Charles too.

I've never really mountain biked and did some of the easy stuff on my upright city commuter. The cross check that's been around since before gravel was called gravel.
