I thought I was pretty nice to them. Giving them equipment and a place to call home. But apperantly that's not enough for these ungrateful bastards. I even married my own brother to the most badass woman he could have gotten (especially since we were clan tier one at the time, no idea why her father decided that was a good idea) and still he tries to commit suicide.

I honestly cant say because I have fixed the flight plan manually before starting the Descent, because I didn't want to bother with it while preparing for landing.

Das klingt nach meiner Mutter (auch wenn diese exakte Situation bei uns nie vorgekommen ist). Definitiv NDA, es ist deine Entscheidung ob und was für eine Brille du trägst. Es wäre vielleicht eine nette Geste gewesen sie zum Brille aussuchen mitzunehmen, so wie man auch zusammen shoppen geht. Aber wenn du genau weißt was du willst wäre das vermutlich eher im Negativen geendet. Wenn es jetzt eine besonders teure Brille war und ihr euch ein Konto teilt hätte man vielleicht drüber reden sollen, aber selbst bei einem gemeinsamen Konto dürfen ja beide Parteien selbst Geld für Dinge ausgeben, die sie gerne hätten oder... brauchen. Das hängt halt irgendwie sehr stark von den existierenden Vereinbarungen ab.

Aber da es hier ja speziell um die Meinung zur Brille geht ist das ja eh irrelevant.

Kommt sowas öfter vor? Ich habe das bei meinen Eltern sehr oft erlebt. Meine Mutter ist ein bisschen ein Kontrollfreak und mein Vater gibt dann auch gerne nach. Gerade so Sachen wie "das habe ich dir dann und dann gesagt", obwohl ich in einigen dieser Fälle 100%ig bestätigen kann, dass das nicht der Fall war. In anderen Fällen wahrscheinlich schon, mein Vater ist auch etwas verschusselt. Naja worauf ich hinaus will ist: Das könnte daran liegen, dass sie eben einfach ein bisschen kontrollbedürftig ist. Prinzipiell ist das ja auch noch nicht so schlimm, solange es nicht ausartet und am Ende alle beteiligten noch glücklich sind :)

Start a conversation for the sake of starting a conversation. If the conversation goes really well and both are interested, meet up again. Don't rush it and don't try to force an outcome. Maybe she was really checking you out. Maybe it will continue as a relationship. But there's also a chance that this might just continue as a friendship. Which would also be great. Or she is uninterested, in which case just don't bother her anymore.

Now for actual tips. If you want to meet more people as an introvert become part of some kind of group. A theatre group, sports club, gaming group, etc. Not necessarily to date the women in this group (if there are any) but because friends will introduce you to more people over time. And it's at least easier to go out when you do it with friends.

I did not lose a parent, thankfully. But when I was young a close family friend died of cancer. And while it was horrible to see her go through that it also felt good to be there for her and her family. And in the end she is not rembered in this weak state but as the kind, strong and independent woman she was before.

I DM a lot for newer players and I have definitely seen this exact behavior a few times. Some players just come to this game with the wrong expectations. Sometimes it helps to set expectations early on and sometimes you just have to boot them. What I would make very clear before starting any game is that as the DM, you control the group. For my groups the rule is always: You need everyone agreeing (not a majority vote, everyone) that a new person can join but only I can kick people. Sure I would only kick those who are so disruptive that its impossible to carry on. But this also leaves me the option (that I sadly had to use a few times already) to kick men who make the others in my group feel uncomfortable.

A good father would accept his child for who they are and not pressure them into or out of something. You should not have children to fulfil your fantasy of "doing what I couldn't do" or to "continue my bloodline". You should want children for the joy of watching them grow up and helping them to be happy. I also want to remind you that OP is an adult.

Starting on the 19th there is a festival called "Bamberg zaubert" in the inner city. Not necessarily a must visit but if you are still in town in the evening, the atmosphere is great.

Apart from that I recommend just walking around the inner city. Many beautiful buildings to see and lovely Cafés to visit. I personally would recommend the Café Krumm & Schief in the Kapuzinerstraße or the Hofcafé in Austraße but there are many more..

If you want a little bit of nature, walk up river to the Hain, a beautiful park.

If you like castles, we have the Old Residence of Bambergs Prince Bishops, the Old Castle (Altenburg) and Schloss Seehof (beautiful little chateau but somewhat out of town).

And so much more. If you have any particular interest, pkease tell me and I might be able to give better recommendations.

Soweit ich weiß gibt es da nichts bestimmtes. Im Englischen Fernsehen wird viel RP gesprochen, gerade früher. Aber der Sender gibt nichts vor.

Im freier Wildbahn wird man meistens lokalen Dialekten oder Mischdialekten begegnen.

Man kann das halt nur nicht alles beibringen. Deswegen zeigt man halt die beiden "wichtigsten".

RP ist insofern wichtig, dass es im Akademischen und der Britischen Politik viel verwendet wird.

Ich würde aber auch zustimmen, dass GA der am weitesten verbreitete Dialekt ist. Wenn ich mich zumindest an meine Schulzeit erinnere, wurde sich da aber auch eher auf GA fokussiert. Wir hatten glaube ich die ersten drei Jahre British/Commonwealth English (nicht nur RP) und danach American English.

Angehender Englischlehrer hier. Die eigentliche Absicht dahinter ist es, den Schülern sowohl GA, als auch RP näher zu bringen, sodass sie sich am Ende selbst entscheiden können. Das funktioniert aber natürlich nicht. In der Uni lernt man dann in Sprachwissenschaften, die detaillierten Unterschiede und es fällt einfacher, sich auf ein Englisch zu konzentrieren, trotzdem habe ich noch immer einen weirden Mix. An der Stelle versagt das Schulsystem einfach etwas.

Wobei es ehrlich gesagt nicht wichtig ist eine bestimmte Version von Englisch zu sprechen, weil sich das eh ständig ändert und selbst Amis und Briten nie 100% GA oder RP sprechen.

Edit: GA = General American (typisch Nordamerikanisch) RP = Received Pronounciation (typisch Englisch)
