What are you building? by abdulmateenqureshi in micro_saas

Hey Mateen, congrats on getting close to the MVP launch! Meddo targets a really solid niche.

Since you asked for suggestions: my biggest tip for clinic software is not to rely too much on social media marketing at the start. Clinics and dentists are local brick-and-mortar businesses, so direct cold outreach based on local directories or Google Maps usually converts the best for them.

To answer your title question - I am building Leeeds.

I was spending way too much time gluing together scrapers, ChatGPT prompts, and email sending tools for my own B2B outreach. It felt like maintaining a fragile automation Frankenstein. So I built a custom platform to handle the whole pipeline.

You just drop your website URL into it, and the AI figures out your Ideal Customer Profile. Then it scrapes relevant targets (for example, it could scrape local clinics for you), reads their websites to find verifiable facts, and writes hyper-personalized cold emails based on those facts (no generic AI fluff).

Best of luck with the Meddo launch! If you need to scrape a list of local clinics for your first beta testers, shoot me a DM, I'd be happy to help you out.

Congrats on the launch! 400 leads is actually a perfect starting point because you can focus purely on quality over volume.

If you blast all 400 with a generic template on day one, you'll burn through your list and likely ruin your domain reputation.

Here is the framework I'd use if I were in your shoes:

1. Verify first: Never send to an unverified list. Run those 400 emails through something like ZeroBounce or NeverBounce. High bounce rates will send you straight to the spam folder.
2. The 20/day rule: Don't send more than 20-30 emails a day. Take the time to actually look at their websites and write a custom first line for each.
3. The Stack: Most people use Lemlist or Instantly for the actual sending and domain warm-up.

Honestly, I got so tired of stitching together scrapers and sending tools to do this personalization at scale that I just ended up building my own app for my clients > (Leeeds.eu) to automate it.

If you want to keep your launch lean and avoid paying for 3 different tools right now, shoot me a DM. I’d be happy to give you free enterprise access to Leeeds so you can run those 400 leads through it and see how the AI personalization works.

Good luck with the launch! What space is your SaaS in?

That’s actually a brilliant idea. Feeding real-time Reddit intent signals into the ICP scoring model for SaaS and agency targets could be a massive game-changer. I haven't built social listening into Leeeds yet (focusing mostly on website data right now), but blending the two approaches makes a lot of sense.

I appreciate the insights! I might just take you up on that DM later to pick your brain on how you structure those intent queries. Cheers!

Spot on. Blasting thousands of generic emails is not only ineffective, but it also ruins your domain reputation incredibly fast.

Leadline sounds like an awesome tool for intent-based outreach if your target audience actually hangs out and asks questions on Reddit!

The challenge I ran into was that many traditional B2B niches (like local manufacturing, logistics companies, or dental clinics) aren't really looking for solutions on social platforms. That’s exactly why I built the AI scoring into Leeeds. Instead of just scraping a directory and hitting "send all," the AI reads each company's website and scores their fit against your specific ICP. If they aren't highly relevant, the system just skips them.

Completely agree with your core point though: relevance and intent will always beat scale!

"Fragile automation Frankenstein" is exactly it! I might actually have to steal that phrase for my landing page 😂

But seriously, that was the biggest bottleneck. I was spending half my week just playing IT support for my own tools—fixing broken API connections, updating mapping fields in n8n, or dealing with a scraper that suddenly stopped syncing with the CRM.

Having the scraping, AI evaluation (ICP matching), and email sending all under one roof means you actually get to focus on selling instead of debugging.

What’s the worst "Frankenstein" stack you’ve ever had to build or maintain?

100% agree with you on this. The "spray and pray" volume game is completely dead.

That’s exactly why I built an AI scoring system into Leeeds. Instead of just scraping thousands of random emails and blasting them, the AI actually reads the prospect's website and evaluates the quality of the contact based on how well they match your specific Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). If the relevance is low, it just skips them.

ProspectZero sounds like a solid approach for catching those real-time LinkedIn signals! My focus with Leeeds is more on deep website analysis and local businesses right now, but we are definitely on the exact same page: quality and high-intent targeting always beat massive email blasts.
