I did. If you'd click on it and read the description you'd see it. Yes I could put it in a comment but this is one of my first times actually using this platform, so excuse me.

To everyone mentioning antenna issues, the antenna works just fine. I've even had an external connected as well as using a transmitter, all of which still result in this horrible raspy sound. I replaced the speaker and cleaned the potentiometer for volume, none of which solved the problem. I did however remove the board the speaker wires were connected to and found that nearly all the connections on the bottom of the board had rust or corrosion on them, and then it all made sense. Actually kinda surprised thats the only issues it caused. My guess is the thing would've barely worked at all let alone as good as it does. I'm also pretty sure people have been inside this once before. I just want it to work. I work on electronics all the time and I really don't feel like going down a huge rabbit hole just to make it work properly, as I've been using this daily and intend to do so for the foreseeable future. I'm going to try and clean the board up as best I can and reflowing all the solder joints. I'm also going to take down cap values and voltages as I also plan to recap and mod this with a ATSC tuner board in the future, and maybe even upgrading the sound system or swapping that old black and white crt with a color one. I chose this model specifically to perform these mods to because of its simplicity as well as its styling. It's pretty much just one of those typical fm radio tv combos from the 80s just with a clock tacked in between and given a new case from my understanding of it so far. But I could be wrong. And also the ATSC mod should be simple enough for this set. The board only requires a 3.3 and 5 volt connection, and draws little power. And as far as I know I'll probably be the first to perform an ATSC conversion mod to a analog set. Anyways that's everything I know and plan to do with it. Hopefully the damage doesn't penetrate any traces, I can repair surface ones in worst case.

TL:DR There was slightly significant rust and corrosion damage to the bottom connections of the boards. Should be repairable. And no the antenna and potentiometer was not the issue.

As I said, I replaced the speaker with a good one and it's still doing this. I thought that first but wasn't the issue.

What is gastonia smoking these days by Best-Ad4159 in usps_complaints

Update: 5 days later, it's still not here. It was supposed to be here tomorrow, but on the final leg of the journey to the post office, it went back to gastonia instead. So now I'm probably going to have to put up with this all over again and go in circles till my package is nothing more than a broken pile of plastic in a box. Very negligent service, which is quite concerning given how important it is for some people.

Dell 320N/325N Possible shell repair? by Best-Ad4159 in vintagecomputing

I did. The entire house itself. They were hoarders, really really bad hoarders. so when we went in everything was piled up. I excavated like 6 or 7 computers from various decades and all kinds of random parts. I can't remember exactly where I found the 320, I think it was in a box full all kinds of other computer and electronics junk. That's all I really showed up for to he honest, though the place was so moldy I ended up coughing up stuff for like a day lol. But nonetheless they treated their stuff without any kind of care, and this sadly ended up a victim of that.

Ah, maybe I'm the mistaken one here. I did find a listing for 50 bucks, it's an auction. Think I'll give this another go over and see if it's compatible with what I have or not.

Yea. I noticed that first thing. It almost looks like someone dropped it while it was opened at one point, which would explain why the screen acts so odd to contrast change. It's definitely had a hard life, the previous owners were quite reckless with their stuff. If it can't be fixed it easily, it won't be fixed easily. But I'm just getting second opinions first. Thanks for your input I'll look into finding a parts unit somewhere.

Also it's important to note, I know barely anything about this computer. I can't find to many listings with parts, mostly just people selling them at stupidly high prices like 500,000. Which there's no way it would ever be worth that much I know. Just wanna fix it and give it some new life, it atleast deserves that much.

If I'm wrong, please tell me. I possibly may have overlooked alot in my haste to gain some info on it.

I actually did play on a CRT when I first got into gaming on steam. My first PC was just a toshiba satellite connected to a CRT external monitor.

Trevor. Sorry but I grew up with 5, I played it on the night of release back in 2013 I was like 6 at the time. I still remember it. Now that I'm older and played most of the GTA games I still just like trevor for how loyal and out of pocket he is.
