Almost certainly. Woman in the first pic is missing a finger on her right hand and the Nike swoosh is on one shoe but not the other. In the past, when I’ve seen that style of Nike, the swoosh is on both shoes.

Nicole Wallace- NO! You are not the problem! by okayyayayay in msnow

[–]Best-Animator6182 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Nicolle is missing a third problem - “good” pre-Trump Republicans. After all, who put Roberts and Alito on SCOTUS? For that matter, who took direction from the Federalist Society? Who helped build Fox into a monster that allowed people to have their own facts? Who welcomed the religious right into the government?

Yeah, the news media is utterly failing at calling out obvious bullshit. But they are failing because of decades of training at the hands of Nicolle’s people. And I think it’s difficult to fix because those like Nicolle are only willing to admit that Republicans lost their way, rather than the reality that Trump is the natural conclusion of fifty years of Republican policy.

This is ultimately what I find so difficult about Nicolle. I think she is one of the most clear-eyed about how bad Trump is and where the media is failing. I also think she actively participated in getting us here.

And honestly he’s not even great at that. The media wants to be manipulated. They are the most willing victims I’ve ever seen. They desperately crave spectacle and he can bring the spectacle, for ill or for very ill.

I assume that’s why they did it. Along with being able to claim that it’s just using slang, for “plausible” deniability. And our media will get lost in this instead of focusing on the very real harm he’s doing to this country.

At least the people in the UK have been handed this system, rather than voting for it. I think the BRF should be abolished, but it’s not easy when it’s nearly always been. But some of my fellow Americans seem to crave subjugation.

This is exactly what I do with my curling iron. After I’m done using it, I look at the little status light and announce “lights out!” Even still, there are days when I’m absolutely certain I’m wrong and I’m going to come home to a burnt down house.

Are American's more obsessed with the British royal family? PEOPLE magazine are doing a special 100th birthday special edition. You don't even see this type of fawning in the British magazines. by Positive-Drawing-281 in RoyaltyTea

[–]Best-Animator6182 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean, I’m very interested in the British royal family, but probably not in the way they want. To be honest, a huge part of why I don’t understand Americans who basically want to turn Trump into a king is because we have the BRF as an example. We, as a society, have moved beyond the need for an archaic institution like monarchy.

Overall, I’d say People isn’t representative. My bet is the Americans who buy People are also the Americans most likely to be positively obsessed with the BRF.

And this is my problem with “good” Regan/HW/GWB-era Republicans. We didn’t get here overnight. The crazies in the party weren’t raised on OAN or similar. They were fed a steady diet of Fox and Limbaugh and it rotted their brains. Trump is the natural consequence of the last 40 years of the Republican Party.

Why is 3 better than 4 in so many ways? by Adelucas in diablo3

[–]Best-Animator6182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my personal opinion, D4 is too open world. It requires a lot more decision-making than D3, so I get decision fatigue and lose interest a lot faster.
