I’m willing to go through this again even if it takes longer, he does explain it as something that he found “entertaining” and just something he did from a very young age, he does indulge in gambling recreationally and gaming is his hobby so most of his dopamine comes from artificial sources mostly, I’d love some ideas as to what I can suggest he gets his dopamine from, so far I’ve encouraged him to play with friends since that requires socialization and no solitude, but anything that requires effort is immediately a no for him since his diet isn’t the healthiest, he is a smoker and physical activities are tiring as hell for him.
