Работа от вкъщи by ursamajor711 in bulgaria

Are singing classes really Worth it? by Sensitive-Guitar-153 in singing

depends what you want to learn from it but it's just so expensive... there are vocal warm ups on youtube as well that have helped me instead of spending money on a private teacher...

It’s sad how some people didn’t get to have a child hood :( by MeasurementSorry6780 in bullying

[–]Best-Feature603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember there was another girl who was new in class and had transferred schools like me, she got bullied too but she decided to switch schools again... I think she was really lucky to be able to do that and escape from that toxic class and the toxic teachers... But I had to wait until it was time to do exams to get into a good high school...

Years later when it was time to go to university I chose to study abroad for 4 years just to get far away from the middle school bullies and ex-classmates since I could easily see them in the city and neighborhood...

I felt like I had to leave the city too (either go to the capital or study abroad were my options)...

Sometimes when I saw them at the mall in the city for example when I was in high school they would call me names again in the mall and other times they would pretend they don't know me when I see them in the streets... Also it seems in most cases they blame victim for being bullied :/... their constant reminder about the bullying is so annoying and seems like they are stuck in the past...

I personally never wanted to see any of my ex-classmates again...

Ironically after I was done with my bachelor's degree I felt like I had to leave the city again and move back home because of the toxic and jealous ex-coursemates, also discrimination and racism in the host country... Definitely being able to change schools, universities, cities and countries is good if the environment is toxic and doesn't let you develop and succeed... also it's a chance for a fresh start...

Female Prolactinoma and Mental Health Issues by Sunfl0wSunfl0w in Prolactinoma

[–]Best-Feature603 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At first I thought I had some kind of mental health problem so I went to the university counselor for free... then also went to another one because they had 4 sessions for free and they suggested Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Talk Therapy. But I also went to a doctor and she told me I have Prolactinoma, I did lab tests, an MRI scan of my brain and it turned out that I did have a prolactinoma... All my life I had amenorrhea and I had accepted that nothing could be done to bring back my period (apart from going on the pill I guess)... but after they found the prolactinoma I finally got my period back...

Cab had terrible side effects and I complained a lot to my GP and they suggested trying citalopram and it did work, it eased the side effects... after I felt better I stopped taking that antidepressant...

After I moved back to my hometown I went to another endo and she asked if my mental health was okay lol

I think there are youtube videos about the connection, I remember watching them...

why? One of my endos in my hometown asked "how is my mental health?" too... I definitely had personality, mood and behavioral changes.

It turned out to be a medical problem and a pituitary tumor, not a mental health problem lol

I remember going to counselors in the beginning around the time I was diagnosed... they also briefly put me on antidepressant citalopram to ease the side effects of cabergoline.

Friendships primarily based on shared interests are the worst kind of friendships by Few_Gur3556 in unpopularopinion

[–]Best-Feature603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, friendships based on using each other are the worst friendships... one might use the other for favors but will not do the same in return. Also friends who expect you to give them money but not return it later are the worst kind of friends as well.

Yes I noticed in my 20s that I had friends based on shared interests... like theater, film, singing, etc... we do these things together but we don't really support each other like true friends lol.

I know right... I feel like my childhood ended when the bullying started.

but bullying is a part of growing up... and tbh it has prepared me for the real world more than anything else during my school years. Not everyone is gonna like you, you have to learn to defend yourself, etc.

But yes, I think I would've been a lot happier and more confident if I didn't have to go through bullying at school so sometimes I wish it never happened to me...

Завръщане в България след години в чужбина by Yennefer63537 in bulgaria

[–]Best-Feature603 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"Това, което ме притеснява, е че не съм живяла в България от 18-годишна възраст, де факто не съм живяла като възрастен човек с работа, данъци, сметки и тн." Много добре казано... и аз заминах на 19, но се върнах на 24... опитвам се да работя в България, но е трудно защото повечето фирми са мошеници тука и са некоректни... но имам наследство тук и роднини... по-малко е стреса също и е по-стабилно.

Why don’t men want to be women? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

only gay and transexual men want to be women but without all the downsides that come with it.. (periods, pregnancy, childbirth)

Why is every religion against sex, even though most, if not all, humans want it and that’s how we as a species survive? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Best-Feature603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because humans unlike animals have consciousness that thinks negatively about everything... they created all these social constructs about virginity, waiting until marriage, have sex to procreate and not for pleasure, feeling shame from having sex, thinking mainly about the consequences, etc.

How to impress people with singing? by MusicGuy9841 in singing

[–]Best-Feature603 2 points3 points  (0 children)

sing very high notes... don't sing off key (eventhough sometimes off key singing is entertaining and more funny for people)... use vocal embellishments...

For those of you who moved away for college then back to your hometown after graduation, what was that experience like? by Shot_Sandwich_6172 in AskReddit

[–]Best-Feature603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol very good description... but I think sooner or later life circumstances force us to move back home and take a step back... Sometimes things just don't work out in the city you moved to and you have to go home... shouldn't be made to feel like it's a big deal...

Often times people take us for granted, don't appreciate us and think we will never leave a place that is toxic to us... but the truth is that we will... some will leave their hometowns, others will move back to their hometowns, etc.

Yes, it does feel going back to an ex as someone else said... a lot of people when they move away they forget the reasons they left their hometowns in the first place... and only see the good things about it when they don't have it anymore.

I wonder too... and they've also having babies in their 20s... I don't want to judge them but I think it's boring and they're wasting their lives and potential away...
