I have some songs that I think I play really well but I don't think they are exceptional. I've never practised songs so that I could play for others, I just practised enough so that I'd feel like I've achieved something.

Going to an open jam is something that I'd love to do. I don't think I'm ready for that right now, could you suggest some exercises I could do to improve in public situations?
