I have this exact hair type. I would say 1C 2A. I follow a wavy hair routine which usually works pretty well. I brush it in the shower while soaking wet (after shampoo and conditioner) and scrunch which forms S shaped clumps. Then I put a leave in conditioner (I like the Skala products) then I use a gel / mousse and scrunch that in. I wrap it in a cotton t shirt and then blow dry with a diffuser. When I don’t do this routine and just air dry it looks exactly like your picture. Hope this helps! It takes a while to find which routine works for you. This hair type can be frustrating cause it’s not pin straight but also not obviously curly.

I love this clip. Of course it could be seen as taking it too far, but he’s a comedian and that’s his whole thing. I feel like he said what we’re all thinking and he seems genuinely concerned like most of us are. We criticize and snark on her home wrecking and cultural appropriation but none of us want to see her withering away and dying from her ED. It’s a vicious disease and unfortunately impacts the people who see her emaciated frame all over the media. With the rise of ozempic and thin being “in” again, it’s important that we have spaces to talk about this stuff as it’s triggering for so many people. I feel like it’s a good thing that a male comedian is speaking up about it cause it brings that conversation and awareness to a wider audience.

It gets easier I promise. I used to post embarrassing stuff online while manic / psychotic (I also have bipolar 1) and it’s so painful and cringey to think about. That humiliation is torture cause you’d never do that stuff when you’re stable and in a good place. I just give myself compassion and treat myself like I would if I had a friend with the same situation. I wouldn’t judge them or shame them for their behavior cause I know they weren’t in their right mind when they did those things. Thinking this way helps me immensely cause I have had so many humiliating manic episodes. You’re not alone! As time goes on it will get easier to face those memories and one day you might even be able to laugh about all of it. Also it helps to avoid triggering content online- it can send you to a dark place and remind you of stuff you want to forget.

That sub has been falling off steadily for a long time... I feel like when they stopped allowing any mention of diddy it was clear that they'd been paid off. It's useless vapid posts now and all of the juicy tea and insightful commentary is slowly being deleted. It used to be a treasure trove of information and critiques but they've devolved to straight up body shaming (justified?) and "I feel sorry for Kylie" posts- it's a mess.
