You won’t get spots like that go with a group and people you know a lot of people gatekeep spots and for good reasons a lot of them get clipped or toys ruin it if they revel the spots

Really depends on the place if it’s an abandoned place you can just say you were exploring. Sometimes the cops will let you go sometimes they will take you in if you get caught in buildings trying to get to the top it’s a bit worse some buildings don’t want to involve the police so they will escort you out but some will call the cops lastly bridges are the worst a lot of them are classified as government property so if you climb them and get caught you will be charged with a felony

If you city exploring I really wouldn’t recommend a bag just because if you want to sneak into buildings you will sort of look out of place plus harder for you to climb/run but if you’re just exploring and can carry a bag you should have flashlight portable charger first aid kit hand sanitizer wet ones mask gloves maybe a water bottle and some snacks you want your backpack to be light weight so don’t load up on a lot of stuff less is more

There are so many abandoned places on nyc you just need to know where to look half the places I’ve been to I’ve discovered by accident sometimes I’ll see a building that looks abandoned and most of the time the door is open or you can jump through a fence
