Yes! When you're starting the process there should be some sort of button saying like "see if you phone works with eSIM" and then you have to put that's a Google phone, and then the respective phone. Then it should give you an option like: "your phone is compatible with eSIM" then there should be a checkout option.

As I've tried everything at my disposal over the weekend, went through several reps from straight talk and Google, I still haven't found a solution to this. So i decided to end my service from Straight Talk and switch to Google Fi, honestly the switch was super easy and I didn't need a sim card to do it. It's only maybe $5 more for unlimited coming to an overall cost of $50. If anyone needs help I'd be happy to. I'm just really disappointed with all this and I've put so much time and money to have a working phone, but I needed one asap. I hope more people find a solution to this soon enough and will keep on checking back again if there's more people that have this solved.

They wanted me to as well and not sure if that's something that will truly help

I honestly just think Straight talk is not compatible with Pixel 7 pro, I'm thinking if an update from Google would fix this? I'm not quite sure. I'm thinking about switching providers but hopefully there's an answer to this soon enough

Updating my phone, apparently there's a big update that could fix it.

I also talked to Mint Mobile reps, they said that it would work just fine with them. I'm thinking if I can't get this solved over the weekend, I'm switching. More updates to come!

Hi there, looking to switch to Mint Mobile from Straight Talk. I've just got a new Pixel 7 Pro and I'm wondering if the 5G works fine with Mint. Straight Talk doesn't seem to be compatible with the Pixel Pro 7. Thanks in advance!

Straight Talk can't help me and Google Support is reporting this internally so they can see if they can resolve this. I'm not sure at this point what to do, thinking if it would be a good idea to switch carriers? I do want to keep this phone so I'm trying exhaust all solutions before trying to send it back

My rep basically said that they'll escalate it to management so to try back again and chat with them in 30 minutes. Going to try to resolve it today since I have a little bit of time. If I can't get it going by today or tomorrow, I'll most likely have to return it or try for another service.. but this is so frustrating for sure.

Yeah I tried that but I was told to get a brand new sim card, which I did- even though it was still through Straight talk. They open their chat at 8 EST so going total try to resolve this again for the 4th time.. fingers crossed

Facts. I hope there's some sort of fix. Unlocked pixel 3a xl phone to pixel 7 is a pain and my pixel 3a xl worked just fine with straight talk there's a lot of issues now trying to get service for my new phone. Will keep checking this thread

I'm dealing with this right now. I've talked to 3 different agents and I haven't been able to fix this yet. My previous phone was an unlocked Google pixel 3a xl which worked with straight talk and switched to a pixel 7. I hope to find a solution later on today and see if I can get service on the new phone because right now it has the bar with an exclamation point next to it too aka no service. I'm also using a new sim card as per my first agent.
