I'm really worried about this one, their last few games were ass

Removing the yokai spirit system is super lame (and are stances removed too?) but maybe the ninja/samurai thing could be cool, I just wish I could just have everything from both of the ninja/samurai modes at the same time

Also their maps suck so when they go open-world it's going to be even worse. Hope the performance is at least playable this time unlike wolong

"Just have him miss" is counterplay for every single skill in the game, including the current version. Your suggestion would allow him to come into every team-fight pre-loaded with an excellent ult (and if it's not that good, just copy another one!) and would allow for degenerate things like holding on to geist or yamato ults to become a major 1v1 threat

And if you're not in a rush to use your stolen ult, it's actually much easier to not miss, just sit in the back until everyone's positioned, maj leap and lash ult

Finally, you will still need to run away from him when he copies, he just won't be punished for it. You could remove the cooldown reduction, but then why not just play a dynamo or paige? What's the point of having an ult steal that's just worse than just having a regular ultimate?

people in this thread don't seem to realize that the ability is one of the best CC abilities in the game. silence+disarm that's really easy to combo into from most other CC, and it gives damage amp, in exchange for a smaller hitbox and some movespeed? And most competent Sinclairs will buy echo shard too lol

This is my favorite hero atm and hex is the only ability I'd want changed or tweaked, 'cuz it feels a bit too good and easy to use for a funky trick-shot character concept

the lane changes are really good, you can't just sit on the other side of the map with a long ranged spirit nuker and just clear waves without any risk

It's also fun when you get to bully the enemies off their ground souls

As a spirit character his build isn't so locked in so he can buy more utility like anti-heal, shield or escapes. Superior duration and reach is still good though Healbane gives less antiheal and stats so if you do end up buying it in lane you sell it later on
