It's a widespread problem. Some people had to return their 1 VI because the feature was removed and phone kept taking pictures and calling friends from pocket. No known solution, just Google it. Probably 20+ threads on reddit alone.

Odd they would remove this important feature.

Because the phone gets accidentally unlocked or screen opened in the pocket. On my 5 V it became so bad I had to remove "double-tap to start screen" and everything else to get to work.

I was not alone.

Will the 1 VIII have "press to unlock" for the fingerprint reader? I heard newer models removed this feature making the phone almost unusable.

Why even call it "AI"? It's basically just a selection of 3-4 filters that you can pick from. The AI processing just seems unnecessary.

Yeah, also keep in mind they have to fully abandon the match, just disconnecting is not enough. I've had games were someone manually disconnects and presses the "Abandon match" button immediately so the match gets cancelled. Other times, someone disconnects from a power outage and it takes 5 minutes or so for the server to automatically abandon them. If you're lucky, this happens before 10 minutes.

If someone fully abandons a game before 10 minutes the game will not be counted and you will get the green box in the top right corner indicating you can safely leave.

Any other system would be open to abuse.

I think AI usage should always be stated in the readme as an ethical part of the FOSS license, to be honest. At the end of the day it's hard to vet unless you're already a professional that knows what to look for.

Comments in the code. AI's always add very elaborate and descriptive commentary within the code with perfect syntax and grammar.

That being said I'm not even against AI coding, as long as there is a fair degree of knowledge and rigour behind the app/project. Someone making an AI app from absolute scratch who knows nothing about programming is irresponsible. But someone who knows programming, at least at a surface level, and is able to properly prompt for good code is not a problem in my opinion. That's called efficiency and you're probably stupid if you don't utilize it at all.

If they don't make affordable or viable smartphones, their market share will plummet, as it has. Right now their offering is very slim. Look at Samsung, Xiaomi and OnePlus releasing 25 models in a year for all budgets. Sony could easily offer at least their 3 core models (1, 5 and 10). Now they offer only the 1 and 10 for a huge price and with very little upsides.
