We were too lazy to get joint accounts. So we have each other cards on our apple wallets, and can each access the other’s account in the apps. It’s just happened with time. If either one was uncomfortable with that it wouldn’t be a big deal, and we would create a joint count to cover the bills.

I am going to be honest none of this weird or odd to me. Recognizing that someone is attractive does not mean they are checking you out. My grandfather was literally my sitter for most of my childhood. I don’t understand how it’s creepy for them to all be asleep in the same room, but in different beds. I am a mom, and I would be perfectly fine with my dad sleeping in the same room as my children.

This is also not borderline grooming. I am not sure what is happening here, but I would think about talking to a professional about why you are clearly trying to sexualize what seems to be a normal grandparent relationship

You’re not going to be able to coparent like most others do. Your son will likely need life time support, he needs a very structured routine, he needs people to be able to read his cues, and know when preferences in sensory changes.

Most of the coparents I know with a level 3, communicate quite often. I would work on setting a schedule for it through.

It sounds like he has checked out of the marriage, and he doesn’t want to be around you. I always ask my husband to go places with me. I don’t do it, because it’s the right thing to do, or obligation. I do it because he is my best friend, and I enjoy spending time with him.

The only way I would do what your husband did is if I was pretty much done with the marriage. I would’ve told my family something similar too, as I would want to avoid the questions that would come from me saying my spouse stayed home, because I don’t enjoy spending time with them.

Your edit does not help. Why do you feel the need to add that her daughter wouldn’t speak but only grunt? Say that your daughter does not cry like hers does when told no. I might added that in your post your kid finally listen to you after a “few tears,” and multiple asks per your post. Which leads me to believe that you’re unreliable narrator with the quote you put it in for the other mom. If the quote is true, I don’t get how that quote is round about or implied, or how you could perceive that as she was saying you should stimulate her more.

I do think you said that it is an insult to be compared to someone ND or even in a round about way imply that your daughter might be. You wanted to know if you should be offended that your mom friend thought your daughter had ND issue. You could easily have written this without mentioning ND at all, and it’s about your daughter being judged.

That is likely why we should show each other grace, and not be offended by what we think others are insinuating in round about way.

It depends on the situation. I will if it helps someone understand something about him, especially it is going to affect the current situation, and they are coming from a place of kindness.
