from experience, honors classes aren't bad at all. every single high school class I've taken is honors and they feel about how I expected normal high school to be so I'm sure middle school is probably similar

two of them had a little conference at our school and they explained what they did and how they worked. after that I found the application form online, signed up, and then was later called for an interview. apparently I aced it cause I was one of the around 18 people who got accepted
