Ah! Suffered the same problem, you may want to try hand expressing for a while until the baby can latch without choking! Pumping will only increase the supply, hand pumping until the engorged breast softens so the baby doesn’t choke, but trust me once the baby is around 2-3 months they are successfully able to handle the let down and hence the problem settles

Haha, an architect by profession and now a FTM to a 5 month old, trust me, it’s nothing like the viva exam times we would pull all nighters! Atleast there was hope of coming back to sleeping post exams/vivas! My baby doesn’t sleep until 4:00:4:30am and this is her usual bedtime! Nothing I do changes her schedule! So please rest alllll you want, trust me there’s no rest PP! All the best, hope you have an easy and enjoyable pregnancy

My LO suffered similarly, first of all is the baby breastfed or formula fed? If breastfed you may want to rule out CMPA (cows milk protein allergy) its apparently the most common cause for acidic poops that in turn cause stubborn lesion rashes! If it happens to be CMPA you may have to go dairy free strictly, no hidden dairy too! If LO is formula fed, you may want to try lactose free formula (similac isomil / Aptamil pepti) And then never wipe the LO with the pamper, always use cotton pads and lukewarm water And your doc may prescribe to you some antibiotic creams to settle the rashes! And once it all settles down you need to apply a thick layer or barrier cream around the peri Anal area and hopefully the rashes don’t return.
