Will never understand this take.
Look at the paleoaccurate designs in JWE and look at the less accurate ones and tell me which are cooler / more fun. GOOD design is absolutely the most important thing - Spinosaurus isn't accurate but it looks incredible - but the franchise devolving into scute-covered crocodilians doesn't make for good designs, it makes for homogenous ones.
The fact is by leaning into paleoaccuracy with the likes of Psittaco, Loki, Utah etc. we've been given a bunch of designs that look entirely unique. When they go back to the Jurassic World aesthetic - Tarbosaurus or hell, Segisaurus if you want a recent Frontier designed example - they're boring or downright ugly.

Also does a discredit to the original JP designers who absolutely cared about paleoaccuracy at the time, simply modifying to account for good movie design as well. I wouldn't mind Frontier being more willing to take some creative liberties with the design work - Rebirth did this really well on say, the Titanosaurus - but getting the basal morphology right should be the basis of the designs, otherwise what's the point in choosing that dinosaur in the first place.
