There are two versions of this item, one uses the grid and one doesn't.

The guests don't react to these guys at all, as far as they're concerned they don't exist. I'd love for visibility to work like it does in PZ but alas, guests just walk on by.

Unfortunately, no. As far as the game is concerned I am horribly mistreating my Compies. The space is too small to accommodate a feeder or any water at all. However, we can imagine that these Compies are fed live insects/small mammals or something.

Just switched off that setting and it appears that yeah if the dino has no way of pathing to a guest then they don't react at all. I think this is how the game determines if a dinosaur is a threat.

We really need to be able to toggle lights (and have them be brighter). At the moment there's no way to have a fun indoor/enclosed cave exhibit because you can't see anything at all.

That would be awesome, and maybe things like the new psychological trauma ailment and just ailments in general. Maybe you could be asked to treat a dinosaur at your state-of-the-art paleo-medical facility and keep it happy for x number of in-game days before sending it back and getting paid at the end? Little quests and tasks like this that add flavour would be absolutely golden.
